Key competencies and autonomous learning are hot topics of current mathematics education reform.Since the Ministry of Education officially released the report of "Key Competencies for the Development of Chinese Students" in 2016,the key competencies of mathematics have been proposed and studied one after another.So what positive effect does the core competencies play in the mathematics learning of high school students? How do students implement and develop core literacy in their studies? This article is based on this research.This dissertation mainly uses the literature research method and the questionnaire survey method to study the relationship between key competencies and autonomous learning and the teaching of series.The research content is based on the establishment of the relationship between the key competencies of mathematics and autonomous learning,combined with the conclusions of the questionnaire survey,puts forward teaching viewpoints and suggestions,and gives teaching case design.Firstly,from the perspective of the concept of key competencies,it emphasizes the cultivation of students’ necessary qualities and key abilities,and ultimately promotes them to achieve life-long development.What are key capabilities? For students to obtain life-long development,it is obvious that the autonomous learning ability acquired in learning is an important part of the key ability.Therefore,under the guidance of key competencies,a good teaching design can promote students to think independently and learn independently;at the same time,the students can develop their key competencies in the teaching process of cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey method,the understanding of the status quo of students’ autonomous learning and teacher teaching in a school,as well as teachers’ understanding of key competencies are known,the data and draw results and make attributions are analyzed.Finally,the number sequence is one of the important content of high school mathematics and one of the key testing points of the college entrance examination.It is the gathering place of many knowledge points and rich mathematical ideas.At the same time,more importantly,the six key competencies qualities are also reflected one by one in the series.Therefore,the number sequence is a good material for cultivating students’ mathematics ability.This dissertation combines relevant theories and survey results to give corresponding teaching suggestions to promote students’ independent learning and number sequence teaching,and apply them to four case designs.This dissertation’s design for the teaching case based on the relationship between key competencies and autonomous learning tries to find a suitable teaching method under the key competencies to truly promote students’ autonomous learning,and provides a feasible path for the effective development of students’ key competencies of mathematics at the same time.This research provides a certain reference and guidance for high school mathematics teaching,and has theoretical and practical teaching value.
