Currently,the Core Competencies and Values of Discipline is fully run.How can we design the subject of main competencies and values as the basis for the education? Unit design is pretty significant.Unit design is based on the system theory,required to design a knowledge or skills unit in an overall perspective,taking into account the learning stages of the previous,immediate and future pupils,in order to help the pupil understand the content of the Mathematical knowledge.Furthermore,it is also an important way to implement the Core Competencies and Values of Discipline and to meet the real needs of mathematical instruction,which a student could promote to better understand mathematics.Understanding by Design(hereinafter referred to as UBD)takes the problem of “how to make more students truly understand the knowledge they want to learn through instructional Design” as the core issue in teaching.It advocates the reverse instructional design with unit as the unit in teaching,and puts forward the design framework for unit teaching.The theme of this research is “how to use UBD theory to develop middle school mathematics units?” According to the “top-down” research method,this paper adopts the method of literature analysis.Based on the unit teaching literature review,UBD theory,the basic process of middle school mathematics module development is established,which combining the three stages of reverse design.In the light of “bottom-up”,using the case study method,summarizing excellent unit teaching programs and teaching periods from the unit's perspective,build the teaching design process for middle school math units.Through the consultation of experts,it is determined that the process has certain operability.Finally,the process of junior high school mathematics unit teaching design based on UBD theory is formed,which inclueded unit theme planning,unit goal description,unit evaluation design,teaching process design and improvements design five steps.According to the constructed process,taking the unit of “linear function” as an example to explaining the activities of this process and putting forward some suggestions to promote the enterprise education.In other words,creating real situations to give exploration,grasping core ideas to improve the effect of education,integrating technology to improve the effect of education,carrying out dynamic evaluation to timeiy reflect and improve.
