"Fun track and field" first appeared in the German athletics federation.In 2000,the German Athletic Federation and the International Association of Athletics Federations(IAAF)jointly launched the International Association of Athletics Federations(IAAF)Fun Track and Field Programme for Children.Compared to traditional track and field events,"the iaaf children's interest in track and field project" more meet the requirements for all ages of the students' physical and mental development,and enrich the content of the traditional athletics,reformed the traditional sports such as running,jumping,shots,in keeping the project,based on the basic characteristics of exercise has been added to stimulate students interest in sport,It is beneficial to the improvement of students' body organization and the cultivation of sports interest.On the basis of previous research,this paper will integrate the interesting track and field project into the teaching experiment,deeply explore the influence of children's interesting track and field teaching on the physical and mental health of primary school students,and formulate targeted teaching programs for the development of primary school students' physical and mental health.This paper mainly adopts teaching experiment method,literature method,mathematical statistics method,questionnaire survey method,logical analysis method and other research methods,to Suqian Experimental Primary School students before and after the experiment of the physical quality of the changes and analysis,in order to verify the children's interesting track and field on the physical quality of the fifth grade primary school students.Through the following comparisons: the physical fitness test data of the experimental class and the control class before the experiment,and the physical fitness test data after the experiment;The physical fitness test data of the experimental class before and after the experiment and the physical fitness test data of the control class before and after the experiment were compared.Through the comparison of the experimental data,the following conclusions can be drawn: children's interesting track and field teaching can significantly improve the physical performance of pupils,enhance their physical quality,strengthen their ability in speed,bounce,explosive power and other aspects,but also improve the emotional goals of pupils.Finally,according to the experimental results,some suggestions are put forward: children's interesting track and field has a significant effect on improving the physical quality of fifth grade students in Suqian Experimental Primary School,and it is suggested to actively promote it;In the teaching process,teachers should give full play to their leading role and subjective initiative to develop interesting track and field courses with local characteristics.The teacher should teach the basic knowledge of track and field to the student unceasingly in the course of class,basic technology and basic skill,lay a certain foundation for lifelong sports.
