As one of the teaching contents of elementary school mathematics,"problem solving" plays an important role in the cultivation of students' core literacy in mathematics.In the teaching process of problem solving,teachers must design the teaching plan reasonably from the perspective of the students.American scholars Grant Wiggins and Jay Mc Tighe proposed backward teaching design.Backward teaching design is an instructional design model in which learning goals are formulated based on national curriculum standards and academic conditions,and evaluation design precedes learning activity design.Its design ideas reflect the concept of student development as the center of the new curriculum standards.This research carried out a backward teaching design for the content of the "Problem Solving" section,in order to provide first-line teachers with a new design perspective in the teaching design of problem solving,achieve the consistency of "target-teaching-evaluation",realize effective teaching,and improve students' ability to solve problems.This research adopts the literature method,text analysis method and case analysis method.Firstly,by reading a large number of literature,the research on problem solving and backward teaching design is sorted out.Based on this,the connotation,concept and basic steps of backward instructional design are explained.Among them,the design concept is student-oriented,curriculum standards as the basis,and internal consistency as the outline;the design operation procedure is divided into three steps: first,clarify content standards and determine learning goals;second,design learning evaluation around learning goals;Third,arrange learning activities to achieve learning goals.Secondly,analyze the content of problem solving.Specifically,clarify the connotation of problem solving,analyze the related content of problem solving in the "Standard(2011 Edition)",and take the elementary school mathematics textbook of the New People's Education Edition as an example to solve the content of the problem And the layout of teaching materials for analysis.Then the problem solving is classified,divided into conditional open problem solving,method open problem solving,conclusion open problem solving and comprehensive open problem solving,and combined with teaching materials to explain.Finally,it discusses the specific design ideas of learning objectives,learning evaluation,and learning activities when conducting backward teaching design for conditional open problem solving,method open problem solving,conclusion open problem solving and comprehensive open problem solving.Regarding the design of learning objectives,it is carried out from three aspects: knowledge and skills,process and methods,and emotional attitudes,but the focus of each type of problem solving is different.In the backward teaching design of conditional open problem solving,the learning objectives mainly focus on improving the acquisition and training of mathematical information;the learning objectives of open method problem solving mainly focus on improving the ability to explore effective problem-solving methods and understand problem-solving methods;the learning objectives of open problem solving focus on the mastery of mathematical thinking methods;the learning objectives of comprehensive open problem solving focus on consolidating knowledge and accumulating activity experience.Regarding the choice of learning evaluation,the methods for evaluating “knowledge and skill goals” include classroom questions,discussion and summary,authenticity tasks,etc.;methods for evaluating "process and method goals" include authenticity tasks,discussion and communication,operation demonstrations,etc.;evaluation" The methods of "emotional attitude goal" include informal observation,classroom questioning,assignment of homework,etc.Regarding the arrangement of learning activities,the design ideas of learning activities for conditional open problem solving are: characterization problem,problem solving,verification and review;the design ideas of learning activity for method open problem solving are: discover and ask questions,explore problem-solving methods,implementation and verification methods;the design ideas of learning activities for open problem solving are: discover and ask questions,explore rules,use rules,verify results;the design ideas of learning activities for comprehensive open problem solving are: discover and ask questions,formulate solutions Solution,try to solve the problem,feedback and evaluation.
