discipline,its curriculum philosophy and methods should keep pace with the times,in order to achieve the goal of cultivating students’ geographical core literacy.Steam education concept refers to the use of real life situations,the use of science,technology,engineering,mathematics and art of these five disciplines of knowledge to solve problems,in order to cultivate students’ innovation ability and comprehensive practical ability;geography is a very comprehensive discipline,using geographical practice activities to carry out geography teaching is more conducive to the cultivation of students’ geographical core accomplishment.Therefore,this study introduces the steam education concept into the design and implementation of high school geography practice activities,so that students can use the interdisciplinary integration of knowledge to treat and solve problems comprehensively in the process of learning geography,so as to strengthen the cultivation of students’ Geography core The characteristics of science.Therefore,this study introduces the steam education concept into the design and implementation of high school geography practice activities,so that students can use the interdisciplinary integration of knowledge to treat and solve problems comprehensively in the process of learning geography,so as to strengthen the cultivation of students’ Geography core literacy.Through literature analysis,this study defines and interprets the concepts of steam education concept and geographical practice.On this basis,the high school geography is divided into two parts: physical geography and human geography.According to the requirements of the curriculum standard,the topic and theme are divided as the structure,and the steam domain of the compulsory knowledge of high school geography is divided.This study selects two cases to carry out the implementation,through the questionnaire survey on the development and changes of steam literacy before and after students’ participation in geography practice activities,and interviews with teachers,to evaluate the effect of high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept,and to explore its impact on students’ development and Enlightenment on geography curriculum.The results show that:First,apply steam education concept to high school geography practice.Combined with steam education idea,high school new curriculum standard idea and geography practice activity,it is clear that high school geography practice activity based on steam education idea is a geography teaching method with geography subject knowledge as the main body and in the form of practice activity,which integrates steam education idea and interdisciplinary integration knowledge,aiming at cultivating students’ Geography core literacy,and fully reflects the characteristics of geography It has the characteristics of comprehensiveness and practicality.Secondly,it divides the required contents in the geography curriculum standard for senior high school(2017 Edition)into steam fields.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,combined with the teaching materials,the compulsory knowledge is divided into two parts: Human Geography and physical geography.According to the curriculum content,it is divided into special topics,and then divided into various subject contents according to the requirements of the curriculum standard.The steam domain knowledge involved is sorted out,which provides a substantial content reference for the development of steam geography education.Third,the design and implementation of high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept.First of all,the whole process is programmed,then two cases are introduced to design and implement,and the evaluation is completed through questionnaire survey and teacher interview.It is found that steam education concept covers the knowledge and skills of science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics and other disciplines.Breaking the boundaries of disciplines can make us comprehensively view and solve the geographical problems in our life,meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards,and have a positive role in promoting the development of students.But in the actual high school geography teaching,there are also many problems,one is limited by the curriculum schedule,environment and other factors,using steam education and geography practice activities is less,the form is single;the other is the design and implementation of high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept requires higher comprehensive quality of teachers,and costs more time and energy Third,the current teaching resources can not meet the needs of high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept.The fourth is the innovation of high school geography teaching methods,which can take the high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept as one of the forms of teaching and auxiliary teaching.At present,many high school geography teaching is mainly based on the traditional classroom.The high school geography practice activities based on steam education concept can be used as one of the forms of geography teaching,which can fully mobilize students’ interest,cultivate students to look at problems from the perspective of geography,and use multi-disciplinary knowledge to solve problems. |
