A Study On Knowledge Building In College Students' Collaborative Learning

In the rapidly changing era of knowledge economy,the frequency of knowledge updating is faster and faster.It is no longer feasible to let students master the knowledge needed by future life by extending the period of school education,so it is urgent to build a learning society in which students learn to learn and study for life.In the modern learning society,learning as knowledge building metaphor is growing stronger and stronger.Because the subjective world of individuals and society are interconnected,learning is a process of knowledge building within the community through cooperation.University is the last stop for students to go to the society.We should emphasize the cultivation of students' ability to adapt to the future social development,such as knowledge building ability,cooperation ability and so on.At the teaching level,collaborative learning should be adopted in the classroom to enable students to complete activities with common goals in a specific organization,so as to enrich individual knowledge and improve community knowledge.However,in reality,there are still many problems in this teaching method which advocates the building of students' collaborative knowledge.Therefore,by combing the existing research results of collaborative learning and knowledge building,this study explores the theoretical basis,principles,conditions,motivation and process of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning,and carries out a three-month Empirical Study on the basis of theoretical research,and analyzes the effect,existing problems and coping strategies of College Students' collaborative knowledge building practice from multiple perspectives.This study is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes questions,research purpose and significance,concept definition,research status,research ideas and methods.The questions reveal the background and reason of this study,and lay the foundation for the research content.The purpose and significance of the study established that based on the era of knowledge economy and the background of learning society,this study explored why and how to carry out the practice of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning,and elaborated its significance from the theoretical and practical levels.In the part of concept definition,it analyzes several related concepts such as collaboration,learning,collaborative learning,knowledge and knowledge building,and makes a research definition of collaborative learning and knowledge building.The literature review combs and summarizes the five research topics of collaborative learning,theoretical analysis,learning mode,practical analysis,knowledge building,tool analysis,three research directions of knowledge building,basic theory research,process research and practical research,which provides necessary reference for this research.Based on this,the idea and main research methods of this study are determined.The second part is the theoretical basis of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning.This part establishes the overall tone of this study,that is,the essence of knowledge building is cognitive development,which is inseparable from cognitive conflict and social environment factors.Within a specific organization,group power will be formed by group driving force,group cohesion and group dissipative force.The follow-up process of this study also follows the above theoretical logic.The third part is about the principles,conditions,motivation and process of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning.The principles that college students should follow in carrying out knowledge building activities in collaborative learning can be divided into four main principles: sociality of knowledge generation,dynamic of knowledge development,creativity of knowledge products and embeddedness of knowledge evaluation.Teachers,students and teaching environment are the three main conditions.Motivation is a powerful force to promote the development of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning.We should set reasonable teaching objectives,build a real sense of collaborative community to enhance the driving force and cohesion,and at the same time,we should effectively resolve cognitive conflicts to reduce dissipation,so as to improve the motivation of knowledge building in general.Finally,knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning is a process of circular development and rising,which consists of five parts: personal information building,information sharing,conflict negotiation,work generation,reflection and evaluation.The fourth part is the empirical study of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning.Based on the results of theoretical research,following the principles and process of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning,this part makes preparations in three aspects: students,curriculum and environment,and finally selects the education policy course of undergraduate education majors as an example to carry out a three-month empirical study.The fifth part analyzes the practical effect of knowledge building in college students' collaborative learning.This part makes a comprehensive analysis of the questionnaire and interview data received in the practice of College Students' collaborative knowledge building from three aspects: the development of collaborative community,the ability of students' collaborative knowledge building,and the effect of students' collaborative knowledge building.The study found that through the implementation of collaborative knowledge building teaching practice,the cohesion of students in the group and class level has been significantly improved,and the performance of students' collaborative ability is different in dimensions.Knowledge building activities improve students' knowledge development level and optimize students' learning experience.The sixth part is the analysis of the possible problems and strategies in the process of knowledge building of College Students' collaborative learning.Based on the practical effect,this part explores the problems that may still exist in the teaching practice of College Students' collaborative knowledge building,such as the lack of cohesion of collaborative community,the need to improve students' interaction ability,and the need to strengthen the support provided by teachers.In view of the above problems,we should scientifically set up collaborative groups,optimize the knowledge building conversation structure,and use auxiliary tools to enhance teachers' support.In general,through the combination of theoretical exploration and practical research,this study complements and improves the relevant theories of collaborative learning and knowledge building,and provides valuable experience for the practice of education and teaching reform in building a learning society at the micro level.
