The Application Research Of Confucius' Benevolence Thought In The Moral Education Of College Students

Studying Confucius and Confucianism is an important way to understand the national characteristics of the Chinese people and the historical origin of the spiritual world of the Chinese people today.As an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,Confucius' benevolence thought still plays an important role in guiding people to form a correct moral evaluation standard and value behavior choice.Today,with the development of the times,China has made decisive achievements in building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,and is about to move towards the long-term goal of basically realizing modernization.However,due to the comprehensive influence of rapid economic development,deep social change,and the influx of foreign cultures,there are such undesirable phenomena as hedonism,weak sense of social responsibility,and individualism.This poses a serious threat to the physical and mental health of college students,and brings new difficulties and challenges to the moral education of contemporary college students.Therefore,on the basis of in-depth analysis of Confucius' s benevolence,the essence of it is applied in the process of moral education for college students.It plays an important role in the establishment of College Students' principles of life,the choice of values,and the harmony of interpersonal relationships.It helps to promote the moral education of college students.On the basis of extensive access to existing works and related literature,this study systematically combs the historical and cultural background,Era Connotation and limitations of the formation of Confucius' benevolence thought by using the methods of literature research and experience summary,and deeply summarizes the value of Confucius' Benevolence Thought in promoting college students' moral education.Then it explores the application of Confucius' Benevolence Thought in college students' Moral Education in the new era.The research shows that: first,Confucius' benevolence thought was formed on the basis of the transformation of the traditional concept of ghosts and gods,the concept of destiny,and Zhou Gong Dan's "Virtue" and "propriety".Later,it was inherited through the process of Mencius' Benevolence Thought's theory of cultivating the mind,Dong Zhongshu's new practice,and the development of Neo Confucianism in song and Ming Dynasties.Today,with the development of the times,Confucius' thought of benevolence still has the Era Connotation of caring emotion of benevolent people,harmonious relationship of self-reliance,subjective consciousness of benevolence and responsibility will.The abstractness of the theoretical basis of the theory of human nature and the adherence to hierarchy and order are the limitations of Confucius' benevolence thought.In the process of applying Confucius' benevolence thought to college students' moral education,we should adhere to the principles of critical inheritance,innovation and development.Secondly,the application value of Confucius' Benevolence Thought in college students' moral education includes the idea of tolerance based on harmony to promote the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese virtues,the rational choice based on benevolence and justice to provide theoretical basis for college students' moral cognition,and the humanistic care of benevolence to promote the construction of the coordination mechanism of College Students' moral behavior.Thirdly,from the perspective of modernity,we should re-examine Confucius' benevolence,and explore the application strategies of Confucius' Benevolence in college students' moral education from the aspects of network environment,campus cultural environment,classroom teaching,practical moral education,etc.This study has important theoretical significance and practical value for enriching the theoretical system,Era Connotation,inheriting and developing Confucius' benevolence thought,and provides important theoretical basis and practical reference for the implementation of College Students' Moral Construction in the new era.
