Because of the abstractness of mathematics itself,many students have some difficulties in learning and application.Triangle,as a branch of geometry,has the difficulty of space imagination in addition to the original difficulties in mathematics.In addition,the core quality of mathematics in the new period puts forward higher requirements for improving students’ intuitive imagination quality.In this context,the content arrangement of triangles in different versions of junior high school mathematics textbooks is discrete,which makes students often ignore the relevance of knowledge when they represent knowledge,and it is difficult to recognize the concept of triangles from the perspective of the whole knowledge network construction.As a result,it is difficult for students to build the connection between knowledge and activate the relevant knowledge to solve the problem.At the same time,teachers often ignore the connection between knowledge in teaching and only teach isolated knowledge points,which increases the difficulty for students to master knowledge comprehensively and systematically.Schema can help students form a structured knowledge cognitive network.When students learn new knowledge,if they can activate the old knowledge schema in their mind to compare with the new knowledge,they can modify the old knowledge schema into the new knowledge schema or imitate the old knowledge schema to build a new knowledge schema.In this way,students’ learning will become more simple.The application of schema theory to triangle teaching in junior middle school will help students to understand triangle knowledge more deeply and further improve their geometric literacy.Through consulting a large number of literature on schema theory,this paper systematically studies schema theory and grasps the construction methods and Application Strategies of schema theory.This paper probes into the concept teaching and problem solving teaching of triangle in junior middle school,and puts forward the teaching strategies of applying schema theory to these two fields.On the one hand,it puts forward four teaching strategies in concept teaching,namely,marking strategy,sample strategy,integration strategy and whole strategy.On the other hand,in the teaching of problem solving,four teaching strategies are put forward: formation strategy,reverse strategy,split strategy and simplified strategy.Through relevant teaching examples,this paper discusses the use of these strategies in the process of students’ acquisition,correction,selection and application of triangle schema.Finally,the teaching experiment of applying schema theory to isometric triangle is carried out.The experiment proves that using these strategies to apply schema theory to junior middle school triangle teaching can indeed help students to deepen their understanding of the concept of triangle,improve students’ ability to solve triangle problems,and then improve students’ core literacy in mathematics.
