Mendelian heredity law is the key content of biology teaching in senior high school.In order to deeply understand students' misconceptions about this aspect of knowledge,determine the level of understanding of the concepts,help students conduct self-testing,and assist teachers to teach students according to their aptitude,this research is devoted to the development of "Mendelian heredity law Concept Inventory".By summarizing the development process of the developed concept inventory,the main process of this study is summarized.According to the high school biology curriculum standards,the core concepts and important concepts of this study were determined,and the concept inspection levels were divided into three levels.On the basis of sorting out the interview results of high school biology teachers and students,a semi-open questionnaire was developed to collect students' misconceptions.Based on this and referring to relevant examples,the concept inventory-a of Mendelian genetic law was developed,and the concept inventory-b of Mendelian genetic law was formed after preliminary modification,and then the concept inventory-c of Mendelian genetic law was formed through the process of trial,quality analysis,expert validity,and re-modification.The inventory items were classified according to the observation layer.A total of 627 students of senior three from seven high schools in four cities of Shandong province were measured by using Mendelian genetic law concept inventory-c,and 571 valid questionnaires were collected.Rasch model was used to analyze the measured data with Winsteps3.72.3 software.In the analysis of one-dimension and local independence,the correlation coefficients of most items were in the range of-0.4 ? +0.4,and each item of the inventory met the requirements of Rasch model for one-dimension and local independence.The reliability of inventory items was as high as 0.98;The fitting values of MNSQ of all items are between 0.7 and 1.3,indicating a good fitting degree.In the analysis of project difficulty and students' ability,the average value of project difficulty is slightly higher than the average value of students' ability,which is at an acceptable level.Therefore,the "Mendelian law concept inventory-c" developed in this study can be applied to high school biology teaching,and the inventory is finalized.Using the measured data to "Mendelian heredity law Concept Inventory-c" in the application of the seven schools,using SPSS17.0 analysis each school students in the three concepts understanding level of performance,Zhucheng Experimental Middle School,Weifang No.1 Middle School and Liaocheng No.2 Middle School perform well on level 1,level 2 and level 3 respectively.According to the statistics of the myth ownership rate of students in seven schools,the following findings are found: The percentage of fatal condition myth was the highest(Q14,Q15 were76.18% and 63.92%,respectively),The second is the essence and process of Mendelian heredity law(Q12,Q9 are 54.02%,44.79%).Finally,based on the test data of the inventory in Liaocheng No.1 Middle School,Cross analysis was used to explain the items and results in the application of the inventory in detail,and teaching suggestions for each core concept are put forward.
