In 2018,the Ministry of Education clarified the core literacy of physics fo r the first time,which opened the new wave of physics curriculum education reform and gradually diversified requirements for classroom teaching methods.Physical concepts is an important part of physical core literacy and the primary foundation,which plays a vital role in solving problems in the real situation.Context chain teaching is characterized by "knowledge interlocking","paying attention to the process of students’ independent construction of knowledge" and "attaching importance to the application of knowledge",allowing students to experience the process of knowledge construction and explain practical problems in production and life with the application of knowledge,thus forming physical concepts.Therefore,the author hopes to cultivate students’ physical concepts and develop students’ physical core literacy by creating context chain in the teaching process.this paper is divided into four parts and seven chapters.The first part is the first chapter,which states the background and current situation investigation of this research.It is based on the discussion of compulsory education curriculum standards carried out by the Ministry of Education,and guided by the development of students’ core literacy.The theme of this research is determined,and the purpose,significance,content and methods of the research are clarified to ensure the feasibility of this research.The second part is the second chapter,which defines the concepts of "physical concepts","physical concepts measurement" and "context chain teaching".Then,clarifies the theoretical basis and clarifies the relationship between context chain teaching and physical concepts.The third part is from chapter 3 to Chapter 6.Firstly,it focuses on the cultivation of physical concepts and explains how to create context chain from four aspects: material selection,creation principles,basic processes and main forms of context chain.Secondly,the context chain is created in the teaching of "quality" to cultivate students’ concept of matter,the context chain is created in the teaching of "sinking and floating" and "leverage" to cultivate students’ concept of movement and interaction,and the context chain is created in the teaching of "transformation of mechanical energy" to cultivate students’ concept of energy.Combined with the current teaching progress of junior middle school,this practical research focuses on "concept of movement and interaction" and "concept of energy".The practical research is divided into three stages:the preliminary preparation stage(analysis of research object,integration analysis of research content,teacher interview,preparation of physical concepts measurement questionnaire and quality analysis);practice stage(pre-class research,practice in class,feedback from results);research summary stage(student interview,comprehensive results display and questionnaire measurement results analysis).The fourth part is chapter seven,which summarizes the role of context chain teaching in cultivating students’ physical concepts,reflects on the shortcomings of the research,and finally puts forward the research prospects.This paper combines with literature research and practice research,analyzes the results of "physical concepts measurement questionnaire based on SOLO classification evaluation theory".The research shows that the overall physical concepts level of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class in the test questions pointing to real situations.Especially in the examination questions corresponding to the high level of physics concepts,the correct rate of students in the experimental class is significantly higher than that in the control class.Combined with the comprehensive results display and student interview,it is found that the students in the experimental class have a more comprehensive thinking and solving of problems in the actual operation process.To sum up,context chain teaching plays a positive role in promoting the formation of students’ physical concepts and the development of physical core literacy,and also provides a certain reference significance for front-line teachers to carry out the construction teaching of physical concepts.
