Physics problem-solving teaching is essential for high school physics teaching,and appropriate problem-solving strategies are keys to solve physic problems efficiently.To study the different performances in physics problem-solving strategies between students,the thesis,based on modern psychology theories,conducts an empirical study on the physics problem-solving thinking strategies of high school students.Firstly,this work used the physics question classification questionnaire to investigate the current status of the problem representation ability of students at different levels.Then,we used SPSS to analyze the representation scores of students at different levels to explore the reasons for the differences in representation ability.The results indicate that: 1.The teacher's teaching method has a significant influence on the student's problem representation ability.2.The physical representation ability of senior students is stronger than that of junior students since the senior students were more familiar with the knowledge in the field than that of junior students.3.Physical performance is significantly related to the ability to represent physical problems.Students with a higher level of physics own a stronger ability to represent physical problems.4.Students' mathematics,Chinese,and chemistry performances were related to their ability to represent physical problems,especially for mathematics.Secondly,this work selected some students of different physics levels and studied the detailed thinking process of students while solving physics problems based on the oral report analysis method.Through the analysis of the process,it was found that students of different physics levels have differences in solving physics problems.Excellent students have a better understanding of basic knowledge,as well as a rich and efficient problem-solving strategy.The basic knowledge of middle school students is also solid but lacks suitable problem-solving strategies.The students with learning difficulties lack not only basic knowledge but also problem-solving strategies.Thus,they often failed to solve problems.Eight problem-solving strategies of outstanding students were summarized: language symbol conversion strategy,physical process clarification strategy,deep mining strategy,graphic physical relationship strategy,analog activation and adjustment strategy,two-way reasoning strategy,thinking monitoring adjustment strategy,and result in verification strategy.Five thinking obstacles for students with learning difficulties were proposed: one-sided thinking,fixed thinking,confusion of concepts,emotional thinking obstacles,and thinking obstacles caused by weak mathematical consciousness.Above all,this work finally put forward some suggestions for teachers' physics problemsolving teaching: 1.Help students form a complete knowledge structure.2.Carry out variant training to improve the ability of analog transfer.3.Cultivate students' thinking monitoring and adjustment ability.4.Cultivate students' scientific inquiry spirit and overcome emotional obstacles.5.Teach students effective problem-solving strategies.
