| Rural teachers are the driving force for the sustainable development of rural education.Under the dual structure of urban and rural areas,rural teachers are regarded as the key to meet the high-quality needs of rural education and solve the marginalization dilemma of rural education.At present,the pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers in China is not perfect.It is urgent to build a pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers that can meet the needs of rural education and promote rural sustainable development.When faced with the shortage of rural teachers and the high rate of attrition of rural teachers,the United States started with pre-service training,guided by the concept of educational equity and culturally responsive teaching,and established a system with the goal of cultivating rural teachers’ local awareness and multicultural knowledge and skills.It is a rural teacher pre-service training mechanism with target mechanism,implementation mechanism and guarantee mechanism as the core structure.This mechanism has cultivated batches of high-quality rural teachers and injected vitality into the development of rural education in the United States.Therefore,learning from the beneficial experience of American Rural Teachers’ pre-service training can provide ideas for China to solve the problems of uneven quality and shortage of rural teachers,and provide direction for improving the pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers in China.In view of this,this research adopts literature method,comparison method,case method to study American rural teachers’ pre-service training mechanism,the mechanism of the background,development history,discusses the specific circumstances,and the Montana rural teacher pre-service training project as the research object,analyzed the rural teachers’ pre-service training mechanism is how to operate.Finally,it summarizes the effects and characteristics of the pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers in America.It combines the situation of the pre-service training for rural teachers in China and makes suggestions for the pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers in China,namely:forming the cooperative operation mode of the pre-service training mechanism of rural teachers;improving the localization training path of rural pre-service teachers;constructing a curriculum system of pre-service teacher education suitable for rural development. |
