The development of physics core accomplishment is a new breakthrough in the evolution of physics curriculum objectives in senior high school,how to realize the coordinated development of physics core concepts and key abilities is an urgent problem to be solved.The learning progressions refers to the progressive description of students' thinking mode in the learning process,which can evaluate students' mastery of concepts and the development of abilities,and provide solutions for the integrated development of core concepts and key abilities.The physics curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 edition,2020Revision)puts forward clear requirements for the development of concept understanding and scientific interpretation ability in the content of Newton's law of motion.Therefore,Select Newton's low of motion based on conceptual understanding and scientific interpretation as the research theme,based on the learning progression theory to explore how students realize the integrated development of concept understanding and scientific interpretation in the study of Newton's low of motions.The paper chooses Chapter 5,Newton's law of motion,which is a compulsory course of high school physics,as the teaching content.The following studies were conducted:(1)Preset Learning Progression path: clarify the three core concepts of "Newton's first law of motion","Newton's second law of motion" and "Newton's third law of motion" through theoretical research,and preset the advanced path of core concepts and scientific interpretation;(2)Empirical test of advanced framework: Customize test tools according to the preset path,analyze the test data of sample students by using Rasch model,and understand the development of students' concept understanding and scientific interpretation ability,so as to formulate the integrated advanced framework;(3)Formulate instructional design: Around the revised advanced framework of important concepts and scientific interpretation to formulate instructional design based on learning progression;(4)Carry out quasi experimental research:take the mid-term results as the pre-test,select the experimental class and the control class to carry out quasi experimental research,summarize the learning effect of concept understanding and scientific explanation in this research,reflect on the deficiencies in the teaching process through after-school interviews,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The research draws the following conclusions:(1)The situation of students' understanding to concepts and scientific interpretation in Newton's law of motion can realize horizontal integration in the first level.In the later four levels,the corresponding level of concept understanding level corresponds to the higher level of scientific interpretation level,and the scientific interpretation ability lags behind the understanding of concepts;(2)The teaching based on the learning progression has a certain positive impact on improving students' concept understanding,especially on the improvement of scientific interpretation ability;Students can realize the coordinated development of concept understanding and scientific interpretation in the study of Newton's law of motion.
