With the new curriculum standards proposed,the curriculum of biology in China should promote the development of students’ core literacy.As the goal of deep learning theory is consistent with it,deep learning plays an important role in improving students’ core literacy in biology courses.In early 2020,a pandemic led to online teaching becoming a more common means of teaching,however,online teaching is quite different from traditional teaching methods due to its spatial limitations,teachers have less experience in online teaching.Therefore,the integration of deep learning theory into the teaching process of online teaching can provide a new idea for the new round of curriculum reform.This paper studies domestic and foreign literature,Sorted out the development status of deep learning and online teaching.Then carry on research to DELC,and carry out the teaching design of biology online teaching based on DELC,and combined with the core literacy of biology subject proposed in the new curriculum standard.The teaching design includes the analysis of learning contents and objectives,the design of teaching activities,the design of evaluation schemes.And during online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic,the unit of "Genetic Engineering" is selected for teaching practice.The experimental group was taught based on DELC,while the control group was given conventional online teaching,two groups of students were evaluated by concept maps and tests.The results show that there are significant differences between two groups.It means,the study of this paper verifies the feasibility of high school biology teaching design based on deep learning,it can be applied to online teaching.The author conducted online teaching based on deep learning can enhance students’ interest in biology,deepen the memory of knowledge,and can use what they have learned to solve real-world problems,finally enhance the core literacy of biology.In addition,this paper also clarifies the difficulties of deep learning in online teaching in practice and puts forward corresponding suggestions.
