As the number one project and landmark project in the "five batches" of poverty alleviation in China, the relocation of ex situ poverty alleviation is difficult, with large investment and long duration, but the poverty alleviation effect is remarkable. After the relocation,it has effectively promoted the economic and social development and the improvement of people’s living standards in the relocated areas, and made an important contribution to winning the battle of poverty alleviation. However, after the relocation, this "leapfrog" urbanization will inevitably expose residents to livelihood risks in the process of facing a new livelihood environment and adapting to urbanization. If they cannot respond effectively,it may lead to the problem of returning to poverty after the relocation. In view of the livelihood problems of residents after relocation, the state has issued relevant policies to solve them, and proposed to involve social forces more than once in the document to assist the government in carrying out assistance work, and social work just meets this demand.Since the birth of social work, the fight against poverty has been accompanied by the development of social work. Therefore, social work has professional knowledge and scientific methods to deal with poverty and its derived problems, can assist the government in carrying out livelihood assistance for relocated residents, and plays a good role as an intermediary between the grass-roots people and the government. Moreover, the involvement of social work in poverty alleviation and relocation of residents in other places not only has the support of national policies, but also has the consistency of service concept, working methods, roles and functions. The participation of social work can greatly promote the completion of the "last kilometer" goal of poverty alleviation and relocation and the development of Rural Revitalization. From the perspective of social work, this study hopes to provide endogenous power and external support for the follow-up development of relocated residents through the construction of livelihood capacity,so as to better complete the assistance work after relocation and inject vitality into the development of Rural Revitalization.Through the use of interview and participatory observation to investigate the livelihood ability dilemma of residents in J community and the reasons behind the dilemma,so as to better find the social work intervention methods to solve the livelihood ability dilemma.Adhering to the viewpoint of energy enhancement theory and ecosystem theory, and with the help of group work, residents can get endogenous motivation, mutual assistance ability, support system and employment improvement in the group,so as to achieve the effect of improving their livelihood ability.During the operation of the group, focus on stimulating the initiative of the members, give full play to the advantages of the same background of the members, let the members get familiar with each other quickly in the group, form a close group, grow and progress together, and still be able to unite together after the end of the group, build a solid support system among the members, and be able to actively respond to and take the initiative in case of livelihood risks,so as to promote the improvement of livelihood conditions.Through the intervention of group work,it can be found that although team members will face a series of integration difficulties in the early stage of the group, with the gradual familiarity between team members and the deepening of group activities, team members can slowly follow the progress of the group and complete group tasks well.Their initiative and self-help and mutual assistance ability in group activities have also been enhanced.Combined with the existing manual skills of team members, they can stimulate their interest in creating income through manual labor,And further through the study of manual labor and the construction of mutual aid groups to improve the livelihood ability. Finally, through the reflection and summary of this group, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the livelihood capacity improvement group, and puts forward reasonable suggestions on this basis,so that social work can better promote the improvement of the livelihood capacity of relocated residents. At the same time,it is also expected that this study can have a certain reference value for the development of rural social work, and provide a certain reference for rural social work to participate in Rural Revitalization in the future.
