Verb research entered the academic field of vision in the 1980 s,and it has become a popular research now.For a long time,certain progress and achievements have been made in all aspects of Chinese verb research.However,the current research hotspots are mainly focused on the research of verb ontology and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and there is less research on the teaching of verbs for native Chinese speakers.Directional verbs are a special kind of Chinese verbs.Their usage is complicated and difficult to master.Primary and secondary schools are a critical period for language development.The teaching of directional verbs is particularly important in primary and secondary education,and it is related to the language proficiency of Chinese citizens in the future.Moreover,the existing research methods are limited to qualitative research and case studies.Based on the collected corpus,this thesis conducts a systematic study on the use of directional verbs in primary and middle school students,and strives to provide new references for explaining the nature of language development and the teaching of directional verbs in primary and middle schools.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the thesis is divided into five parts.The introduction first introduces the reason for the topic selection and the significance of the research;secondly,it summarizes the current situation of domestic and foreign related research,grasps the trend of the trend verb research from a macro perspective,and finds the shortcomings of the topic research field and the direction that can be explored in the future;again,the investigation of this research The corpus is explained;finally,the theoretical basis and research methods of this research are explained.The first part examines the composition corpus from the perspective of the timing of the use of tendentious verbs.Two parts are analyzed,from the timing of the use of tendentious verbs in grades 1 through 3 and the trend in the use of 3 verbs in grades 4 through 9.Thus summarizing the characteristics of the timing of the use of the tendentious verbs in primary and secondary school students and comparing them with the acquisition timing of children in the perceptual motor stage.The second part is a detailed analysis of the frequency of use of tendentious verbs in primary and secondary school students' essays.Through the statistics of the frequency of use of student tendency verbs at each stage,the frequency characteristics of each group of trending verbs are summarized.Finally,the overall use of trending verbs in primary and secondary school students is summarized and explained.The third part examines the semantic use of trending verbs in primary and secondary school students.First,summarize the semantic types of the tendentious verbs.Secondly,the semantic use of complements tended to be used by students in grades one to three,four to six,and seventh to ninth grades,respectively.Finally,the characteristics of the use of the meaning of the trending verbs of primary and secondary school students are further proposed.The fourth part explores the syntactic function of the tendency verbs of primary and secondary school students.The study of the syntactic function of the tendency verb of students in grades one to three,fourth to sixth grade,and seventh to ninth grades is mainly explained from the position of simple tendency complements and objects,the position of compound trend complements and objects,so as to further analyze the syntactic function characteristics of primary and secondary school students.The fifth part discusses the misuse of tending verbs and teaching suggestions among primary and middle school students.Through the screening of the corpus,find out the misuse examples,and elaborate on the types of misuse.Analyze the reasons for misuse on the basis of corpus.The teaching suggestions put forward combine cognitive development theory and cognitive metaphor theory,and develop around the problems embodied in the thesis research.The concluding part summarizes the article,and summarizes the use of tending verbs in elementary and middle school students.
