With the development of the times,the important function of chemistry curriculum is to"cultivate people by virtue"and cultivate students'core qualities.Compulsory education chemistry course is an important basic stage for students to learn chemistry knowledge.How to closely connect chemistry knowledge with the implementation of core literacy is worth pondering.Students in the stage of compulsory education have just contacted new subjects and have no perfect knowledge system and structured logic.Therefore,it is crucial to help students establish a systematic understanding of subjects,master the methods of learning chemistry,and cultivate students'core literacy of chemistry courses.Large unit teaching is a"total-point-total"teaching method,which is particularly systematic.Large unit teaching helps students to establish a systematic knowledge structure,master the subject learning methods and train students'thinking,and solve real problems in the transfer.It is an important way to implement the core quality of chemistry courses.Through the study of the literature,the paper analyzes the core quality of chemistry curriculum,combining the study situation of the core quality of chemistry curriculum.on this basis,using the text analysis method,analysis of the textbooks and other cases,construct the teaching design process of the chemistry large unit in the junior middle school based on the core quality of the chemistry curriculum,and elaborate on the process in detail;based on the in-depth analysis of the curriculum standards,prepare the learning evaluation scale of junior middle school chemistry students based on core literacy;two cases were selected from junior middle school chemistry for specific teaching design,"CO2"was selected from the elemental compounds as the large unit theme,selected"solution"as the large unit theme from the course of chemistry concept teaching,on the basis of a detailed analysis,one of the class periods was selected to show the teaching design case.The research results show that the teaching design process of junior school chemistry unit based on the core literacy of chemistry curriculum is operable,which can design teaching content as a whole,use teaching situation in a deeper level,make full use of teaching evaluation,and help students achieve literacy goals in the process of knowledge transfer and skill application.Through the research on the function of large unit literacy and the reflection of teaching design,teaching suggestions are put forward for the"large unit teaching design based on chemical core literacy".The suggestions are:on the one hand,deeply understand the quality value of large unit,the connotation and the relationship of chemistry curriculum,and clarify the quality value of large unit,teaching design and practice based on chemistry core quality,teaching design and evaluation,and actively combine with other teaching methods.
