With the rapid development of high-performance computing processors and the introduction of new software technologies,software-defined radar technology with the characteristics of hardware reconfigurable,software reconfigurable,and requirements definable has become an important trend in the development of radar systems.Based on a software-defiend radar system with a high-performance general-purpose processor as the hardware platform,radar data processing components and display control components are studied and implemented in this thesis.Complying with standard interface specifications and packaging structure,the function template of tracking filter components has been designed.And the display and control terminal with extensible and reconfigurable features has been implemented.These achievements greatly perfect the richness and integrity of this system and give full play to the typical advantages of software-defined radar.Firstly,this thesis investigates the development procedure and research results of domestic and international software-defined radar system architecture,and introduces the implementation of display control terminals in traditional radar systems,then clarifies the importance of designing radar data processing components and display control components.Based on the survey results and taking the software-defined radar system with CPU as the hardware platform as an example,the functional requirements and implementation methods of each layer in the hierarchical software system are described in detail.Secondly,the design principles and interface specifications of the algorithm components are introduced,and the division basis and calling relationship of the three-layer packaging structure are analyzed,which could greatly improve the reusability of components in the software radar system.In the realization of radar data processing,the typical target motion models,data association methods and various filters in the tracking filter algorithm are deeply studied.The algorithm granularity design and function template design of the tracking filter component are given,then the interfaces,data members and functional functions for typical component are implemented and verified logically.Thirdly,for the purpose of extensible and reconfigurable functions,the service functions and framework structure of display control components have been deeply investigated.At the same tine,abstract interfaces compatible with different types of display controls and communication interfaces for exchanging data and commands are designed.Based on the framework and structure,P-type display widget,A-type widget,list widget,and map widget,are specifically realized.And starting from the functional requirements,a radar display application solution through dynamic integration and reorganization are quickly built.Finally,the practicability of data processing components and display control components are separately verified in actual radar systems.To fulfill the signal processing algorithm flow of a mechanical scanning radar,a software-defined radar system with CPU as the computing node is accomplished.The calculation processing performance,resource occupation,and the communication throughput speed of the components are tested as the system runs stably,showing many advantages such as the reliability,practicality and real-time performance of software-defined radar system.
