In the modern wireless communication system,the antenna is one of the most important front-end devices,and its working performance plays an important role in the communication quality of the entire system.With the advancement of science and technology and the development of academia,the wireless spectrum has become more and more used,and more and more spectrum can be used for design.However,for the equipment that needs to be loaded into the sky,the performance of the antennas mounted on them is becoming more and more strict,because of the cost constraints,it is necessary to reduce the size of various equipment as much as possible.For this reason,the development trend of antenna technology is gradually moving closer to making the antenna lighter,occupying less space,applying multiple frequency bands,radiating multiple polarizations,etc.This thesis has carried out research on topic selection according to the requirements of scientific research projects.The main research content of the article is the double circular polarization antenna unit based on microstrip line and dielectric resonator,S/X band common aperture antenna array,phased array antenna.Firstly,the background reasons of the appearance of the common-aperture antenna,the significance of choosing this subject,and the research status at home and abroad are introduced.At the beginning of the article,the theoretical basis of the two types of antennas,the microstrip antenna and the dielectric resonant antenna,is briefly explained,and the theoretical basis of the linear array and planar array antennas is also introduced.Secondly,the dual frequency dual circular polarization antenna element based on S-band and X-band of microstrip antenna is designed.In this design,the antenna element can work normally in S-band and X-band,and can generate left-handed circular polarization wave and right-handed circular polarization wave respectively.The operating bandwidth can reach 14%of the corresponding band and meet the VSWR<3 in the operating band.The whole array can complete scanning area of azimuth ±45° and pitch ±10°.Finally,an X-band dual circular polarization antenna element based on dielectric resonator is studied.The antenna has lower section height,higher radiation efficiency and simpler feeding mode.It is also a new attempt to form an 8×4 X-band antenna array.
