In recent years,the mobile Internet and the Internet of Things have led a new industry wave.Connected smart devices and massive amounts of information have made daily life more intelligent and convenient.At the same time,frequent information transmission between devices has also caused people to worry about information security.In order to ensure information security,the traditional method uses non-transitory memory storage keys to encrypt information.However,non-volatile memory is susceptible to external attacks that cause key leakage.In order to solve the problem of key leakage,Physical Uncloneable Function(PUF)is proposed as a secure hardware encryption technology.PUF uses the uncontrollable random difference construction in the manufacturing process to provide a method for safely generating and storing keys.This paper mainly designs PUF based on magnetic multilayer film,which can be used for key generation and identity authentication,which provides guidance for the development of spintronic technology in the field of information security.First,by etching the vertically magnetized Ta/CoFeB/MgO magnetic device array,due to the unevenness of etching,the interface anisotropy properties of magnetic devices at different positions are randomly distributed,and an interface magnetic PUF is realized.After evaluation,the interface magnetic PUF has a Hamming distance between standard slices close to 0.5 and a Hamming distance within a standard slice less than 0.14,indicating its excellent safety and good stability.Under the processing of fuzzy extractor,the interface magnetic PUF can obtain a stable and uniform key,which is used in the field of key generation.However,the response number of the interface magnetic PUF is directly proportional to the number of PUF devices,which belongs to the weak PUF.Based on this weak PUF,a new strong interface magnetic PUF is constructed by further introducing true random number generator,hash function and error correction module.Among them,the true random number generator greatly expands the number of keys;the hash function only supports one-way calculation,which can prevent external reverse engineering and improve the uncloneability and unpredictability;the error correction module can correct the response Random error.Performance evaluation shows that the PUF can generate an exponential challenge response pair,which belongs to a strong PUF and is suitable for identity authentication.Finally,a feasibility scheme of identity authentication protocol based on strong interface magnetic PUF is proposed.
