The Study Of The Humanistic Care Of Public Variety Shows For The Elderly With Cognitive Impairment

Television programs are the prism of society and a mirror that reflects social reality.Public welfare variety shows through the lens of the real presentation,reflecting social reality.The elderly group with cognitive impairment is a special social group,whose survival,medical care,pension and other related problems are serious social reality problems.These key problems not only affect the public’s social mentality,but also affect the safe and stable operation of our society.Through the media representation of this special group,《Forget me not cafe》 reflects the social problems of the elderly group with cognitive impairment,gives play to the media’s guiding power of public opinion,and causes the society to pay more attention and care to this special group in a larger scope and at a deeper level.《Forget me not cafe》 is China’s first public welfare program focusing on the record and observation of elderly patients with cognitive impairment.Through the observation of five elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment,it reflects the humanistic care and social responsibility of public welfare variety shows.Based on 《Forget me not cafe》 as a case,this paper around the cognitive impairment in old age group,with humanism as the research key,under the vision of public communication,based on the theory of agenda setting,media responsibility theory,using text analysis and literature analysis,in-depth analysis for the program,focus on analysis shows how to reflect on the survival condition of cognitive impairment in elderly group,the spiritual life,the value of life care?This paper interprets the humanistic care of the program from the two aspects of the program subject and the audience,and thinks about the humanistic care of the program according to the program text and the social reality,and concludes the realistic dilemma of the humanistic care of the program,so as to provide reference for the development and innovation of the public benefit program.This paper discusses from the following four parts: the first part: using text analysis to explore the innovation of 《Forget me not cafe》,from the social,cultural,media three aspects of 《 Forget me not cafe 》 value interpretation,finally summed up the deficiencies of the program.The second part: according to the program text,summarize the typical characteristics of the elderly patients with cognitive impairment in the process of social transformation and development,and analyze the role,character relationship and image of the elderly patients with cognitive impairment in the program,so as to form a new cognition of the elderly group with cognitive impairment.Part three: using text analysis method and literature research method to analyze the realistic context of the elderly group with cognitive impairment from two aspects of media context and cultural context.Then,through text analysis and interviews,the paper summarizes the social problems faced by the elderly group with cognitive impairment in combination with the actual situation.The fourth part: use the text analysis method to sort out the concrete embodiment of the humanistic care of the program,and interpret the humanistic care of the program from the perspective of sociology and audience studies.Then,according to the program content of 《Forget me not cafe》,combining the comments of netizens and part of the interview content,this paper analyzes the realistic dilemma of humanistic care.This paper holds that 《Forget me not cafe》,with its new mode and new connotation of public welfare communication,has opened up a new blue ocean of variety shows and become a model of China’s variety show innovation,which makes us see the strong vitality of variety shows.In addition,by removing the metaphor of disease,the program actively presents the image of the group with cognitive impairment,which is not only the concrete embodiment of the humanistic care of variety shows,but also the social responsibility of public welfare programs.It not only helps to weaken the public’s stereotype on the group of cognitive disorders,but also helps to build a harmonious media in a harmonious society,and also helps to rationalize the narrative of other special diseases.However,there are inevitable limitations behind the program’s emphasis on humanistic care: the program dispelling the cruelty of the disease,reducing the pathological features of cognitive impairment to the decline of memory function,unable to get rid of the doubts about the suffering of consuming patients,and having some conflicts with traditional taboos.
