| Recently a new kind of book called Wechat public account book appears in the publishing industry,which is the main object of study in this paper.Public account book means a book published as a collection or adaptation of historical articles in a public number;or a book published by a regular publishing house after having been written by the founder or the lead author of the public number,which obtaining both CIP and ISBN.From the perspective of knowledge production and consumption,this paper analyzes the production mode,communication condition and readers’ perception of wechat public account book,trying to figure out the meaning of wechat public account book.On the whole,this paper follows the production-acquisition-consumption trend of knowledge production,focusing on exploring the new characteristics of knowledge production process in the public account book.The content of the public account book comes from the Internet,although it takes the print as the carrier,it still has a strong Internet characteristic,such as the diversified symbols and scene narration in its production,as well as the differentiated characteristics and empathy in consumption.In terms of research methods,this paper combines text analysis,case analysis and empirical research,using the quantitative results,theoretical analysis and practical cases to demonstrate results.In the introduction part,this paper first explains the background of the public account book,the origin of the research and the basic ideas.At the same time,the research problems and methods would be illustrated.Then it makes a theoretical review of these concepts:media ecology,knowledge production and public account book reading.The second chapter analyzes the publishing mode of the public account book,as well as the roles and tasks of the public book and the publishing organization from the perspective of knowledge production,then summarizes the characteristics of the production mechanism.The third chapter carries on the previous chapter,analyzes the characteristics of readers’ knowledge acquisition according to the questionnaire data.Then it combs the current dissemination situation of public account books according to the statistical data.Meanwhile,it introduces the “paradox information” to explain the discount phenomenon of public number books on the market.In the fourth chapter,it uses the consumption of knowledge as foothold.Supported by quantitative analysis of questionnaire data and results of the interviews,the reason of readers’ consumption knowledge and the reader’s portrayal would be concluded.At the same time,through regression analysis it concludes the reader’s reading behavior and attitude,as well as the influence relationship between the public account reading and the consumption of books,which is also called consumption empathy.The fifth chapter summarizes the significance of the public book to knowledge production,analyzes its origin in practical operation,and puts forward the vigilance against the commercial drowning of cultural issues.Finally,on the basis of the summary of the full text,the conclusion and contribution are explained,and the shortcomings are summarized to provide reference for the follow-up research. |
