With the continuous development of current virtual reality technology,virtual technology is gradually integrated with applications in various fields,creating many virtual space environments based on platforms in different fields,and the forms used in various fields are also more mature.Application projects such as virtual museums,virtual exhibition halls,virtual viewings,virtual education and training have become a new trend in the development of VR technology.This virtual display application moves the real exhibition hall to a virtual environment,allowing users to visit and browse in the virtual environment without visiting the field.Virtual scenes have properties consistent with the content of the actual scenes,allowing the experiencer to feel immersive in the virtual.Starting from VR technology,this article takes Nanchang Hangkong University History Museum as a research example,virtual design and development elements as the basis.It uses Autodesk Maya,Adobe Photoshop,Unity3 D and C # languages,design and create a virtual Nanchang Hangkong University History Museum.The HTC Vive interactive device completes the development and testing of the Virtual School History Museum.From the following parts,the first part analyze the current status of VR technology in display design,and explain the concept of VR display,the types of display items,and the current application status of VR display design.The second part analyze the design elements of the VR school history museum display project.Based on the cultural needs of the school history museum,systematically analyze the three important design elements including visitor-centricity,immersion and interactivity,and key technology and equipment development.The third part is the design strategy,design concept and design goals of the virtual school history museum system,and then the detailed design of the design of the exhibition items and corresponding functions.The implementation process of the interactive function is mainly explained,and the final implementation diagram of the project is given.In the fourth part,the system is tested for functional performance,and it is appropriately modified according to the results.Basically,the expected functional modules are basically realized,and the virtual school history museum system has good experience and stability,and can be used in school publicity and display.
