Research On The Utilization Of The Yi Literature Database In Chuxiong Normal University

Database resources have the advantages of convenient retrieval,fast dissemination and high academic value,and gradually become the main source of information.In order to highlight the collection characteristics and meet the needs of characteristic teaching and scientific research,University Libraries began to build characteristic databases.Under the background of promoting the construction of world-class universities and first-class disciplines,the construction of characteristic discipline resource database is an important way for university libraries to effectively carry out discipline services and enhance the influence of universities in the field of characteristic discipline research.The author investigates the four databases of Chuxiong Yi culture excellent works database,Chuxiong ancient books database,Yi culture digital resource platform and southwest Yi oral history data database which are built by Chuxiong Normal University Library.The first step is to obtain the relevant information from the relevant teachers of the library technology department;through the use of the background administrator account of the database to obtain the access statistical data of the Yi literature resources database,analyze the collection literature resources of the self built database of the library,the annual platform traffic analysis,the access situation of users inside and outside the school,the retrieval function,and the downloading and utilization of the hot resources of the database.The second step is to conduct telephone or face-to-face interviews with experts and scholars in Yi studies,applicants for relevant scientific research projects,writers of Yi related books and students in school,andconduct a questionnaire survey on the use of teachers and students in school in terms of user characteristics,information literacy,use behavior and habits,and use needs.In the third step,according to the situation and problems of the resources utilization of the Yi literature resources database in Chuxiong Normal University Library,some countermeasures are put forward,which can provide reference for the construction and improvement of the characteristic database of Ethnic Universities and Yi studies in the future,and improve the innovative service mode of the library.The thesis is from six aspects.The first part is the research background and significance,research methods,innovation points and difficulties.The domestic and foreign research reviews include the research of electronic resource evaluation,characteristic database construction,digital resource utilization and electronic resource evaluation.The second part gives a detailed overview of the connotation and classification of digital resources and Yi literature resources,database technology and the definition of information users in university library.The third part describes the selection criteria of research objects of Yi literature resources database.The fourth part of the author according to different database background management to obtain the relevant data for research.The fifth part focuses on the problems existing in the utilization of Yi literature database.In the sixth part,according to the research investigation and interviews with experts and scholars,the corresponding solutions are put forward.The last part is the conclusion.
