In the past 40 years,wireless communication technology has experienced four major technological changes,and its rapid development has brought unprecedented prosperity to the wireless communication terminal industry.In the 5G era,as a mobile terminal with a wide range of applications,the mobile phone needs to cover an ultra-wide frequency bands to meet the needs of a variety of communication protocols.On the other hand,with the great improvement of data throughput in mobile communication,MIMO(Multiple-input Multiple-output)wireless communication technology,with its advantages of multiplying the transmission rate without increasing the bandwidth,and improving the quality of signal transmission,has become one of the core technologies in 5G communication era.This thesis mainly studies and designs several miniaturized broadband mobile phone antennas for 5G communication.Some of the results are verified by experiments.The performance of the antennas is good and has a certain practical application value.The main work is as follows:1?A miniaturized ultra wideband mobile phone antenna for 5G mobile communication is designed and tested.The results show that the antenna can basically cover the sub-6 GHz band required by mobile communication in 5G era,and has good radiation characteristics.For the consideration of the radiation absorbed by human body,the SAR(Specific Absorption Rate)of antenna is also studied and calculated.2?A miniaturized four-element MIMO antenna for LTE is designed and tested.All elements of the antenna are symmetrically distributed at four corners of the dielectric plate,and the full frequency band isolation of the port is above 12 dB by using the inverted T-shaped defected ground structure.The experimental results show that the antenna has good radiation performance,high gain and efficiency.3?A dual frequency eight-element MIMO terminal antenna for 5G is designed.Eight antenna elements are symmetrically distributed in the longer frame of the mobile phone,and can cover a wider frequency band(3.3-3.6 GHz,4.8-5 GHz).By reasonably allocating the position and spacing of the MIMO radiating unit,the isolation of each port is increased to more than 10 dB,and the antenna's radiation performance is satisfactory.
