In recent years,the scale of network services has shown an exponential growth trend.At the same time,it requires the service quality of each network user to be guaranteed under extremely complex network conditions.This requires the network to become more flexible and able to achieve flexible scheduling based on upper-layer applications or user intent.The SR(Segment Routing)network system came into being in this context.With the gradual development of the SR network system,the flexible algorithm Flex-Algo(Flex Algorithm)based on SR-TE(Segment Routing-Traffic Engineering)has received widespread attention.Flex-Algo is implemented based on the extension of the IGP protocol.It is still in the drafting stage.Its core is to divide the actual network topology into multiple logical topologies according to the operator’s definition and calculate the shortest path tree for each logical topology.The main work of this article is to design and implement a routing subsystem based on Flex-Algo and a universal routing platform.According to the network administrator’s definition of Flex-Algo,intelligently regulate and control business traffic.Based on the relevant characteristics of Flex-Algo,this paper designs a subsystem architecture,that is,a distributed multi-instance component is added to the original IGP protocol architecture.This article named it IFLXSPT(IS-IS Flex-SPT)Components.In addition,in view of the fact that there may be multiple shortest path trees in the subsystem that need to be calculated at the same time,this paper schedules the calculation process of the shortest path tree,so that each node performs ordered calculation on the shortest path tree based on different definitions of Flex-Algo.This article first introduces the basic principles of the current IGP protocol,traffic engineering,SR,and Flex-Algo and other related technologies.Then,based on the business scenario of the subsystem,it performs functional and non-functional analysis,and puts forward a distributed multi-instantiated component.And then based on the overall architecture,the subsystem is outlined and detailed design,and for the subsystem,FAD notification,logical topology establishment and SPT calculation and other functions were tested based on the general routing platform.The test of the subsystem verifies the feasibility of the subsystem,and finally makes a summary and prospect of the work completed in this paper.
