The emergence and rapid development of the Internet has completely changed people’s lifestyles.From daily food,clothing,housing and transportation to work and entertainment,innovations are happening everywhere,which has spawned industries that meet people’s various needs.Webcasting has also become a focus of attention in the transformation.focus.Although the rise of webcasting is very short,with the popularity of 4G and smart phone applications,since 2016,it has quickly penetrated into almost every smartphone user,and a large number of live streaming platforms were born.After the reshuffle of the "Hundred Live Streaming Platforms Wars" in 2016,the live streaming industry has become a new investment outlet with a market size of up to US $20 billion,ushering in the spring of capital.Huya and Douyu succeeded in going public in the United States,with a market value of nearly 4 billion US dollars.Therefore,the valuation of live streaming companies has become the focus of the investment market.In contrast to its financial report data,almost no profit was achieved before going public.The traditional evaluation method based solely on financial statement data cannot give a reasonable explanation for the high valuation of the market,and it is difficult to give investors a reasonable reference.Therefore,the research on the method of value evaluation of live streaming companies has become a new topic and an urgent problem to be solved.Through the research on the characteristics of the live streaming company’s operation and profit,combined with the new research direction of the user value of the Internet industry,we have made a new exploration of the evaluation method of the live streaming company’s value.The first part is an introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance,and related research of network value evaluation at home and abroad,and provides theoretical support for the following.In the second part,we focus on the definition,types and characteristics of online live streaming platforms,profit model and development,and value influencing factors.The third part mainly discusses the basic model of income method,basic principles and parameter selection,and revises the model.Mainly combining the characteristics of online live streaming companies,the revenue of live streaming companies is disassembled,and the main live streaming reward revenue based on the number of users and ARPPU is separately predicted,and the prediction of these two key indicators is theoretically analyzed to improve The disadvantages of start-up companies with negative cash flow and unable to use traditional methods to evaluate corporate value.The fourth part uses the revised model to evaluate the enterprise value of Douyu platform to verify the applicability of the model.The fifth part is an overview of the problems and related suggestions in the application of the model innovated in this article.This section focuses on some forward-looking analysis of this,and puts forward some suggestions for the existing problems.The last part is the research conclusions and deficiencies.It summarizes the research in this paper and puts forward the deficiencies,providing directions and corrections for the subsequent research.The thesis adopts the method of combining literature analysis and case analysis.Through the research on the related concepts and revenue models of webcast companies,it innovatively proposes a new method of revenue prediction-user value.At the same time,the method verification is combined with Douyu,and the quantitative and qualitative are combined to find a more reasonable method.The research results of this thesis can provide some academic and practical application references for the value evaluation of online live streaming enterprises.At the same time,in the importance of key indicators of value assessment,it can provide strategic and operational thinking for the live streaming industry.
