For a long time,physical bookstores have been a concerned cultural format,and we often pay some additional spiritual sustenance to bookstores as a place for cultural inheritance and soul rest.Nowadays,due to the rapid development of network technologies such as digital reading and e-commerce,the ways for the public to acquire knowledge tend to be diversified,and physical bookstores are struggling in the torrent of the times.In recent years,thanks to the nationwide reading strategy and the support of related policies promoted by the state,physical bookstores have ushered in a reverse trend of compound transformation.Compound bookstores have undergone qualitative changes in both external presentation and value core,but at the same time,there are some problems,such as the convergence of transformation path and the weakening of cultural media attribute.At present,research perspectives in this field are mostly focused on brand marketing strategies,spatial environment reshaping and management transformation paths.There are few related researches from the service design perspective and the depth of intervention is limited.In this context,this paper starts from the research of context-related theory,integrates the universal theory of service design,explores the contextual problems and needs in the service design of compound bookstores,and proposes corresponding design strategies to guide the practice of service design.Based on the context theory,this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the service design elements of the compound bookstore,refines the service design strategy,and develops design practice around the "reading social" positioning compound bookstore based on this.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,based on the service design problems of the compound bookstore industry,use context-driven design to analyze the context elements in the service design of the composite bookstore,and construct a service design process model based on context theory;Secondly,in the stage of contextual investigation,the corresponding demand mining is carried out for the three generalized contexts of "people","service" and "environment",and the Kano model and service gap model analysis are used to cluster and prioritize the situation demand set,so as to divide the service design demand weight of composite bookstores;thirdly,in the strategy research stage,based on the research results of the KANO-SGM model,extract the service design strategies of compound bookstores from the three broad contexts of "people","service" and "environment".Finally,undertake contextual research on demand clustering and design strategy research,clarify the design goal of"Reading Social",carry out "Xiao Si" bookstore design practice,and conduct service design evaluation through user experience testing,and verify the feasibility of the proposed strategy.Based on the compound bookstore service design process model proposed by the context theory,this paper conducts design strategy and design practice research on the compound bookstore service experience from an interdisciplinary perspective,and expands the scope and research boundary of service design theory.At the same time,the exploration in design practice has verified the feasibility and credibility of the theoretical level,and the situational theory is used to empower the service design,which provides a preliminary service design idea for the compound bookstore under the new situation.
