The local Chronicles hall is a kind of public historical and cultural venue unique to China,which is used to preserve the local Chronicles of a certain region.In order to preserve paper local Chronicles,local Chronicles usually set up a library.The stacks of the Chronicles Museum have two characteristics:one is that the stacks are closed most of the time,and the air quality in the stacks is prone to change,which poses a threat to the safety and health of the managers of the stacks.Second,the internal environment of the library is easily affected by the outdoor environment,leading to changes in the temperature and humidity of the library,which will reduce the preservation time of paper local Chronicles.This paper analyzes the domestic and foreign local Chronicles or the venues with similar functions,and studies the technology of their application in the measurement and control of the library environment.This paper combined with the actual situation of Shandong Chronicles Museum,designed a set of environmental monitoring and control system for the stacks(hereinafter referred to as the stacks environment monitoring and control system).The system can realize the monitoring and storage of four environmental parameters,namely oxygen concentration,carbon dioxide concentration,temperature and relative humidity.When an environmental parameter exceeds the standard,the system will start the corresponding execution equipment to regulate the environment of the library to the standard range.At the same time,the system provides the client software for the library management personnel to inquire the real-time situation of the library environment remotely.The environmental measurement and control system designed is divided into four parts.(1)Measurement and control node.This part is composed of microcontroller,environmental parameter sensor and control module.The main function is to collect and report the environmental parameter data of the library.When an environmental parameter exceeds the standard,the measurement and control node controls the corresponding execution equipment for regulation and control.(2)Server-side.This part establishes the MySQL database in the remote server.The main function is to receive and store the environmental parameter data of the library reported by the measurement and control node.(3)Client software.The software is installed on the personal computers of the Chronicles management staff.The main function is to provide a platform for library managers to view the real-time situation of the library environment.(4)Execution equipment.This part includes ventilator,air conditioner and dehumidifier.The main function is to control the oxygen concentration,carbon dioxide concentration,temperature,relative humidity.The operating environment of the system is constructed in the underground stacks of the Chronicles Museum of Shandong Province.The accuracy of environmental collection and the effect of environmental control are tested,and the test results are good.The measurement and control system designed in this subject has good application and promotion value for improving the measurement and control of the library environment of local Chronicles at all levels.
