Discourse Production Of Transgenic Report

When the issue of rotation basis enters the public’s field of vision,many research aspects have emerged.This article chooses the research perspective of discourse production.Taking the genetically modified reports in the paper media as the research object,news reports from January 1,2010 to December 31,2020 are selected from the full-text database of important Chinese newspapers as the research sample.Exploring the changes in the discourse production of genetically modified reports in Chinese society.On the basis of previous studies,this paper investigates the media’s GMO discourse production mechanism,and discusses the factors affecting discourse production and discourse contention in GMO reports.The study found that the focus of our country’s genetically modified reports has completed a shift from the discussion of scientific issues to the supervision of social issues.Paper media reports are mainly "stable",articles supporting the development of genetic modification and articles calling for rational treatment of genetic modification are the main theme of paper media reports.The expression of genetically modified discourse of the central media closely follows national signals,firmly grasps the dominance of genetically modified discourse in Chinese society,and constructs the mainstream values of genetically modified discourse.Local media’s reporting on genetic modification has paid more attention to local genetic management policies.With the progress of the times,the image of genetically modified media reported by the media has become more and more abundant.Although the voices of support and doubt in the GMO report are the same,there is a certain conflict between the two.However,a consensus was reached that "China must develop genetic modification." National policies and media positioning are the main factors affecting the production and expression of media at all levels.This article draws on Fairclough’s three-dimensional framework to conduct a discourse analysis of the research samples,and finds that the discourse practice of GMO reports tends to be elite discourse.From the perspective of the social practice of genetically modified discourse,the production of genetically modified discourse in paper media emphasizes the four aspects of identity construction,public opinion guidance,popularize scientific knowledge,and problem solving.A survey of news reports found that the media did not achieve a balance of all parties when presenting the opinions of different discourse subjects,resulting in the dislocation of elite discourse and popular discourse.In addition,anomie behavior in media reports is also a problem that needs to be properly solved in the production of genetically modified discourse.The discourse expression of the people in paper media reports is "absent".Based on the above research results,this article puts forward four suggestions for future reports of genetic modification:1.Pay attention to the way of discourse expression,make it more grounded while ensuring scientificity and accuracy;2.Focus on public subjectivity in news reports,interview citizens to understand their views on genetic modification policies and management systems;3.Maintain sensitivity to domestic and foreign genetically modified news,report timely,and improve the work of genetically modified reports quality;4.When launching genetically modified reports,use their own advantages according to the media positioning,and carry out in-depth processing of genetically modified reports.
