With the development of intelligent terminals and emerging services,mobile data traffic is growing explosively,constantly challenging the limit of network capacity,and putting forward new requirements for bandwidth,delay and energy consumption.Edge computing optical network,which combines edge computing and optical network technology,has become one of the important application scenarios of the future network with its advantages of low delay,large bandwidth and cooperative interconnection.In the edge computing optical network,the computing and storage capacity of the edge data center is limited,and a large number of data are distributed redundantly,which brings severe challenges to the large capacity edge computing optical network.In addition,the data in the edge computing optical network is distributed according to the region,and the cooperation between data centers is prone to resource waste and delay problems caused by asynchronous transmission time.For the above problems,this paper focuses on edge computing optical network,considers optical network and storage resources,and studies distributed content caching and aggregation strategy.The main contents and innovations of this paper are as follows(1)In order to solve the problems of limited storage resources and resource waste during aggregation in distributed cache,this paper proposes a heuristic algorithm for distributed content caching and aggregation.Compared with the traditional method,the algorithm considers the network resources and content size attributes,designs a partial cache method by dynamically adjusting the threshold used to decompose the content,and performs routing and optical transmission resource allocation based on the maximum subtask completion time.The target of optimization is the blocking rate of tasks and the utilization rate of resources.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves the goals of improving service success rate,reducing traffic blocking rate and improving network bandwidth utilization due to the joint optimization of cache and transmission processes.(2)In order to minimize the delay in distributed caching and aggregation,and to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,this paper proposes a delay controllable distributed content caching and aggregation system platform.Based on the system design,using SDN/NFV and other open source technology,combined with physical equipment to build a network management and control platform to simulate the real business scene.The experimental results show that the platform realizes dynamic network configuration and service deployment,completes the process of distributed content caching and aggregation,and reduces the service completion time through flexible management and control of multi-dimensional resources in edge computing optical network.
