Research On The Smart Transformation Of Ningbo Public Library

Public library is an important part of public cultural service system.For the past few years,with the increasing demand from the general public for better and fairer public cultural services,and the rapid development of the Internet and information technology,the outline of a safe,convenient and efficient intelligent era has become clearer.It also prompts the public libraries to gradually transform into smart libraries.In the meanwhile,Ningbo Library made some correspondingly smart transformation attempts.After reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad,it was found that Wenzhou,Shanghai and foreign countries such as the United States and Japan have successively carried out exploration of smart transformation and summarized some experience in line with the local situation.But there are few papers on systematic discussion and research on the smart transformation of libraries.It is worthwhile to sort out the practical path of public library transformation in the context of smart era.This paper mainly discusses the smart transformation of public libraries through five parts.The first part elaborates the research background and points out smart library has become a hot topic in academia.It combines relevant concepts and theories,clearly defines the applicability of the theory of equalization of public goods and public services in this paper.The second part indicates the research methods,and summarizes the research progress of smart libraries at home and abroad.The third part analyzes why the smart transformation happens to Ningbo public libraries.Taking the transformation of Ningbo library as an example,it points out that there are still problems such as insufficient software and hardware,limited service efficiency and hidden dangers of information security.The fourth part expounds the experience of the smart transformation of public libraries at home and abroad,and refines the two transformation directions of space transformation and librarian upgrading.The fifth part discusses the possible ways for public libraries at all levels in Ningbo to gradually transform into smart libraries by creating smart spaces,cultivating smart librarians,building smart cloud platforms,and improving smart security.
