| The development of the UHD video industry has put higher demands on the two technologies of uncompressed video transmission and lossless processing in certain applications.However,currently,technical research in the field of UHD video mostly relies on lossy compression to achieve video transmission and processing,and the transmission distance is limited by factors such as its own signal,cable,and environment.Therefore,a complete solution for uncompressed long-distance highspeed transmission and lossless real-time processing is a great help to promote special market applications in the UHD video industry.Starting from the needs and applications of the project,this paper designs a FPGAbased distributed video processing platform for 4K,8K and other UHD videos,providing uncompressed long-distance high-speed transmission,distributed lossless real-time processing and output display features.The platform is composed of a host computer,a local video output board,distributed video processing boards and display screens.The host computer realizes user interaction and drives the PCIe interface of the board to obtain video data;the local video output board transmits uncompressed video data through the SFP+ interface to the distributed video processing boards;the distributed video processing boards realize system cascading expansion through the SFP+ interface and complete the lossless real-time processing of video data,and finally output it through the HDMI interface;the display screens receive the processing results for presentation.The hardware design of this system is developed around the core distributed video processing board,using a 14-layer stack structure to complete a high-speed PCB design with a total of 1423 components,1020 signal netlists,and 4607 electrical connections.The entire design process revolves around signal integrity,power integrity and electromagnetic compatibility.Through theoretical calculations and tool simulations,problem analysis,interconnection design and result verification are carried out.At the same time,a complete distributed video processing platform software is designed in cooperation with the hardware.Including: PC software,based on C and C#language to realize user interaction interface and PCIe board driver;local video output board software,based on Verilog language to realize PCIe receiving,UDP grouping and SFP+ sending of video data;distributed video processing board software,based on Verilog and C language,realizes SFP+ reception,UDP unpacking,recombination processing and HDMI output of video data.The distributed video processing platform designed in this paper has complete software and hardware functions and superior performance.It provides a scalable solution for uncompressed long-distance high-speed transmission and distributed lossless real-time processing and display of UHD video.The innovative architecture,software and hardware design results have pragmatic application value. |
