| In the past,TWT power amplifier has been playing a leading role in the field of satellite communication.However,due to its high working voltage,low reliability,short service life and high price,it is difficult to meet the requirements of high linearity,high reliability,low power consumption and small volume of current satellite communication system.In recent years,with the rapid development of semiconductor materials such as Ga As and Gan,solidstate power amplifier with low-voltage operating characteristics and high reliability has gradually become an indispensable device in the field of communication.This paper is based on the application research of a satellite communication project.Through the research of this topic,the feasibility of two-way power synthesis in Ka band is verified.On this basis,the equalization technology and linearization technology are used to verify whether the solid-state power amplifier can be improved to meet the high requirements of the satellite communication system for solid-state power amplifier.In the field of microwave millimeter wave,the power of single solid-state devices is very low.In order to achieve high power output,it is usually necessary to pass multi-stage power synthesis.Therefore,the research of power synthesis technology has become the focus of solid-state power amplifier design.In the process of RF link design,the model of amplifier chip and the mode of final power synthesis are determined by analyzing various power synthesis technologies and comparing a lot of data.Then,a new power distribution / synthesizer based on T-junction is designed by using the simulation software CST Microwave Studio.After the physical test,the echo loss of the power divider is less than-18 d B and the back-to-back loss is less than 0.63 d B in the 27GHz-31 GHz band.Finally,according to the measured data of power amplifier,microstrip equalizer and analog predistortion are designed.The equalization of equalizer is more than 3.5d B,the gain expansion of analog predistortion is up to 5d B,and the phase compression is more than 16°,which makes the performance of power amplifier improved substantially.The final test results show that the saturated output power of the solid-state power synthetic amplifier is more than 43.3dbm in the working frequency range of 27GHz-31GHz;the flatness of linear gain is less than ± 0.8d B;the saturated power is backward 3d B,and the third-order intermodulation in the whole band is less than-25.8d Bc,which provides some important reference for the development of the actual project. |
