With the rapid development of computer and network information technology, information has become an increasingly important resource.Correspondingly,as one of the necessary skills of talents in the new era, information literacy has attracted more and more attention.Colleges and universities also set up relevant information literacy education courses, pay attention to the cultivation of students’ information literacy. However, domestic scholars lack of research on the effectiveness of information literacy education, most of the research is to put forward macro suggestions, the formation of systematic information literacy education effectiveness evaluation indicators are less, and then select cases for specific evaluation and analysis is also relatively lacking. In order to more accurately evaluate the effectiveness of information literacy education, understand students’ real needs and grasp timely and effective teaching feedback, and promote the better development of information literacy education in colleges and universities, this paper introduces the Ke-style evaluation model into the evaluation of information literacy education effectiveness from the perspective of students.Based on two rounds of expert consultation and the application of AHP,this paper establishes and determines the final four first-level indexes,11 second-level indexes,38 third-level indexes and their weights through YAAHP software, and explains 38 third-level indexes in detail, which forms an effective tool to evaluate the effectiveness of information literacy education in university libraries. Then,on the basis of the evaluation index, select T colleges and universities as a case study, and distribute questionnaires to undergraduate and graduate students who have received information literacy education.Through questionnaire recovery and SPSS data analysis, the present situation and existing problems of information literacy education in this school are obtained. The gap between different grades and different majors is great, especially in the major, the students of economics and engineering are much higher than those of humanities and art;The students put forward higher requirements for teachers and teaching contents, with the students of two major majors as the most obvious;some students have low interest in information literacy education, lack of attention, autonomous learning ability and active initiative need to be improved; The mastery and application of knowledge, especially the use of technical tools, need to be improved. In view of the above problems, the author gives concrete suggestions from four aspects: improving the degree of attention of the school, adjusting and optimizing the content and structure of the curriculum, increasing the propaganda of information literacy, and strengthening the students’ conscious participation to encourage the students’ scientific research and innovation. Finally, based on the evaluation index of information literacy education and the conclusion of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward five countermeasures to enhance the effectiveness of information literacy education in university libraries from three angles: establishing and perfecting the investigation mechanism of student satisfaction and emphasizing the main position of students;establishing and perfecting the information literacy curriculum cultivation system, innovating the teaching contents and methods;setting up reasonable and pluralistic examination mechanism, strengthening the evaluation consciousness and enriching the examination contents and forms; To create a good atmosphere of scientific research, encourage students to carry out scientific research innovation and strengthen the training of professional teachers, and further improve the level of teachers’ information literacy.
