Along with continuous development of Less-than-Container-Load(LCL)business,requirements for the integration of supply chain services have continued to increase,and problems of traffic congestion and rising costs have gradually emerged.Faced with the increase in international trade brought by the “Belt and Road” strategy and the upgrade of application scenarios brought by the development of new technologies,the LCL business is seeking to further optimize processes and save costs after the initially “Internet +” transformation.In this thesis,we choose the LCL platform as the research object,which is more in need of improvement in the shipping industry.We improve the business process of the LCL platform from the perspective of the whole process of door-to-door by introducing the method of cyclic pick-up and delivery operation and integrating the pick-up and delivery process,so as to solve the problems of traffic congestion near the LCL warehouse,low vehicle utilization,process waste and poor viscosity of the platform.Firstly,this thesis combs the current LCL platform operation process,analyzes main problems in the process and puts forward improvement scheme of the business process by introducing the milk-run operation.Then,aiming at the improved process,combined with the characteristics of LCL,an integrated loading and unloading path optimization model is proposed.Finally,taking the LCL demand of Yangtze River Delta as an example,the model is solved and analyzed by neighborhood search algorithm.By discussing the total cost under different parameters,it is found that the integrated optimization of loading and unloading sequence and pick-up and delivery path in LCL business will effectively reduce the total cost of doorto-door service.We obtained other management enlightenments,which together helping providing theoretical basis for LCL platform business process innovation.
