In a Cognitive Radio Network,cognitive users can dynamically perceive spectrum resources,and opportunistically access authorized frequency bands currently occupied by unlicensed users,reducing the waste of spectrum resources.In order to coordinate this access process,any two cognitive users can use channel hopping to achieve rendezvous on a publicly available channel in the absence of authorized spectrum resources,and interact with various types including spectrum sensing results,clock and handshake negotiation,etc.Control information,so as to realize the control information exchange that does not depend on any dedicated fixed control channel,and effectively alleviate the traffic saturation problem of a single control channel.Existing researches on channel hopping rendezvous mostly focus on minimizing rendezvous delay and maximizing the rendezvous degree,ignoring the communication quality of the rendezvous channel.Because in a real communication environment,if two cognitive users rendezvous on a channel with poor communication quality,the communication efficiency between them will be very low,and it may even lead to a final communication failure.Therefore,the research goal of this paper is to design a channel quality-based channel hopping rendezvous method for cognitive radio networks to improve the performance of control information interaction based on channel hopping rendezvous.Therefore,this paper proposes a channel ranking mechanism,which sorts the channel quality based on the measured signal-to-interference-to-noise ratio on the channel.When constructing the channel hopping sequence,we use high-quality available channels to replace low-quality or unavailable channels to achieve rendezvous on channels with less interference,and minimize the Time to delay of channel hopping rendezvous as much as possible under the premise of ensuring a certain number of rendezvous channels On the basis of this channel ranking mechanism,this paper proposes a MESRR-I algorithm based on channel quality,and proposes a DS-? algorithm based on the cyclic difference set theory,in order to realize that the two communication parties share the same method to generate hops.Symmetric channel hopping rendezvous of channel sequences.At the same time,in the asymmetric channel hopping rendezvous where the transmitter and receiver need to use different methods to generate channel hopping sequences,this paper proposes ACCH-? and SJ-RW-? algorithm based channel quality based on the existing ACCH and SJ-RW algorithms.These channel hopping sequence generation algorithms perform channel replacement based on the results of channel ranking and interference normalization,so that more rendezvous occurs on high-quality channels with less interference.And they consider a variety of application scenarios including clock asynchronous,interference with homogeneous and heterogeneous,so they have a wide range of applicability.Finally,a large number of simulations are performed to evaluate the performance of the algorithm based on the MATLAB platform.The results show that,compared with the existing channel hopping rendezvous algorithm that does not consider the channel quality,the channel hopping rendezvous algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve better channel hopping rendezvous time interval and transmission throughput on high-quality channels.
