| This research takes visual feedback under human-computer interaction waiting as the research object,with the main purpose of improving user satisfaction during user waiting and reducing user time perception.Firstly,it describes the theoretical basis used to establish the research model,and then the theoretical basis.The visual feedback optimization design model under interactive waiting is proposed above.The research mainly focuses on the following aspects:(1)Research on the waiting state of human-computer interaction: First,research the people,things,systems and the entire interactive process involved in interactive waiting,including the causes of online waiting,In order to analyze the psychological changes of users at each stage,and the influencing factors of the user’s waiting experience.And expounds the related theories of time perception and related factors that affect time perception.(2)Research on visual feedback under interactive waiting: firstly,it discusses the necessity of dynamic visual feedback under interactive waiting,and secondly,the dynamic form of visual feedback and its influencing factors,and then analyzes how dynamic visual feedback itself affects user satisfaction and recognition.Finally,according to the cognitive absorption theory,the visual feedback under common interactive waiting is classified to provide a theoretical basis for the following experiments.(3)To increase the user’s intelligibility of animated icons and enhance the users’ cognitive efficiency in human-machine interface(HMI),an evaluation method of animated icons based on user satisfaction is proposed.Four animated icon forms including horizontal motion,vertical motion,rotation and scale were redefined based on speed,path,amplitude and direction.The psychophysical method was conducted obtain the upper threshold,the appropriate threshold and the lower threshold of the animated icons’ motion time,then the correlative models were built between the motion time and the motion amplitude of icons.The 7-point Likert-type scale was used to measure the appropriate motion amplitude of animated icon,motion time and amplitude of animated icons were compared and analyzed by ANOVA and LSD tests.The experimental results show that the most appropriate motion time was about 450 ms,the action time and the action amplitude is positively correlated amplitude and complexity of animated icons,even the size of smartphones are crucial to the design of animated icons.This method provides one quantitative model for the design of animated icons in HMI,the findings can serve as a useful guideline when animated icons are researched or designed.(4)Construction of a visual feedback design model for time perception optimization: The research model assumes that the three design dimensions of visual feedback have an impact on users’ online waiting experience and time perception.Appropriate visual feedback design will prompt users to perceive a shorter wait Time to obtain higher user satisfaction and pleasure.In this chapter,in addition to manipulating whether visual feedback of different styles(explicit/hidden,presence/decoration,presence or absence of music)during online waiting will affect the user’s perception of time,another experimental purpose is to investigate different visual designs in the online waiting environment How does it affect the user’s time perception and user experience,and whether music will affect the online waiting time perception and waiting evaluation.This chapter proposes and verifies a human-computer interaction waiting state management research model,which manipulates the design effect of visual feedback based on theory,expands the previous research on waiting interface and waiting perception,in order to better understand the phenomenon of online waiting and the future.(5)Summary and application of the visual feedback optimization model under human-computer interaction waiting: Through the above research work,combined with the dynamic form satisfaction model of visual feedback under interactive waiting and the visual feedback design model for time perception optimization,a set of applicable visual feedback design models was finally formed The theory and method system of visual feedback design under the waiting of human-computer interaction,and combined with a social APP system interface case to verify.Examples prove that the method in this paper has certain practical value for improving user satisfaction and pleasure under interactive waiting,reducing user time perception,and improving waiting tolerance.The visual feedback optimization model proposed in this paper is mainly from the perspective of user experience design under interactive waiting,and for the first time the impact of the design of dynamic forms of visual feedback(speed,time,complexity)on user satisfaction,and visual feedback(explicit/dominant)The influence of implicit,with or without/decoration,with or without music)on the user’s perception of time,and the influence of visual feedback design on the user’s perception.This research expands the research field of human-computer interactive waiting,and can provide an effective reference for the optimal design of interactive waiting experience in human-machine interface. |
