| In recent years, the culture of "character setting" is widely popular in our daily life,as a result, generation Z is keen to role play social activities.Role-playing virtual social applications have transformed the connotation of virtual social interaction. It changes from the traditional interaction mode of "user--network platform--user" to the "role--network platform--role".Scholars have studied the culture of "character setting" and role-playing games, but the rise of virtual social applications of role-playing is relatively late,so there are few academic research achievements. It lacks research on the combination of the "character setting" culture and roleplaying virtual social applications. It is particularly important to make a systematic study on the virtual social applications of role-playing from the perspective of its core--"character setting" culture. The subject takes the virtual social applications of character acting and voice acting as the research object, and takes "character setting" culture as the entry point. In this paper, multidisciplinary research methods such as literature research method, case analysis method and field investigation method are used to explore the role playing virtual social applications and their interaction design.Firstly, this paper defines and interprets the concepts related to role-playing virtual social applications and "character setting" culture, and makes clear the research scope and relationship. Then, the paper analyzes the living background and influence of Generation Z from the aspects of historical background, home and school environment and cultural environment, and analyzes the deep reasons for the rise of virtual social applications of role-playing from the aspect of social subjects.Based on the culture of "character setting",this paper summarizes three social characteristics of virtual social applications: self-empowerment in the virtual world, selfpresentation in the division between the front and back stage of performance, and group identity in the synchronic emotional experience.Secondly, the interaction design characteristics of role-playing virtual social applications are analyzed with the concrete embodiment of social characteristics in role-playing virtual social applications as the clue and the five elements of user experience as the framework. That is,the strategy layer design of differentiation, the scope layer design of multi-dimensional support, the structure layer design of simulation, the framework layer design of adaptability, and the expression layer design of metaphor. Then,we use the observation method to observe the main business process, find the difference between the user’s mental model and the application design, and point out the design problems that need to be improved.According to the interaction design characteristics of roleplaying virtual social applications, the pain points and psychological needs of users in the process of using the application were interviewed, and the original data were obtained. The interaction design elements of role-playing virtual social applications--role setting, stage design, script content, crew interaction and performance mechanism are obtained. Finally, according to the influencing factors of interaction design of role-playing virtual social applications and the design problems that need to be improved, the interaction design strategies and methods of virtual social applications from the perspective of "character setting" culture are proposed. The design strategy mainly includes role setting with empowerment as the purpose, stage design with diversion as the benchmark, script content with light weight as the principle, crew interaction with identification as the goal, performance mechanism with inspiration as the orientation. |
