The relativistic magnetron with all-cavity radial extraction structure extracts microwaves from the radial extraction structure,and finally outputs through the axial fan waveguide and the coaxial waveguide,which can improve the compactness of the relativistic magnetron.However,the simulation efficiency of the radial all-cavity extraction of the relativistic magnetron output of gigawatt microwave power is only50%,which is much smaller than the simulation efficiency of the axial diffraction output relativistic magnetron.For this reason,this paper proposes a high efficiency radial all-cavity extraction relativistic magnetron.Based on the theoretical and simulation studies of relativistic magnetrons,a high-efficiency radial all-cavity extraction relativistic magnetron model is proposed for the first time.The simulation results show that under the condition of voltage of 586 k V,current of 3.67 k A and magnetic field of 0.34 T,the radial all-cavity extraction relativistic magnetron output microwave power is 1.56 GW,the frequency is 1.592 GHz,and the power efficiency is 74.3%.The output mode of high-power microwave is the coaxial TEM mode.The main research contents and innovations of the thesis include the following aspects:First,the research on the relativistic magnetron management theory of high-efficiency radial all-cavity extraction is carried out.The beam-wave interaction mechanism of the relativistic magnetron is expounded.The dispersion relation of the cavity structure is obtained by the field analysis method and the equivalent circuit method,which lays a theoretical foundation for the structural design of the device.Secondly,the influence of resonant cavity structure parameters on its π-mode resonant frequency and working performance is studied.A high-efficiency radial all-cavity extraction relativistic magnetron model with single-stair output structure and improved cathode cap is proposed for the first time.The model has a simulation efficiency of 74.3%.Thirdly,the solenoid magnetic field that meets the engineering needs is designed,and the magnetic field intensity distribution at different positions is analyzed.In the simulation verification by using the solenoid magnetic field,the efficiency of the radial all-cavity extraction relativistic magnetron is 75.7%.Compared with the ideal uniform steady magnetic field,the relative efficiency deviation is less than 2%.The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed solenoid magnetic field.
