Research On The Relationship Between Enterprise IT Capability,Supply Chain Agile And Logistics Performance

With the development of social science and technology,China’s manufacturing enterprises are facing a transitional challenge changing from traditional enterprises to intelligent manufacturing.Intelligent manufacturing has become a new direction for China’s enterprise reform.The subsequent integration of the Internet and the enterprise economy has also become the development of China’s enterprises new trend.Under the influence of economic globalization,customers’ demand has become diversified.If enterprises want to meet the diversified needs of customers,they should establish an agile market supply chain network.The supply chain agile can not only perceive customer needs in time,but also make timely adjustments and feedbacks based on customer needs.Although there are many ways to improve the supply chain agile within enterprises,with the development of Internet technology,the influence of IT capabilities on the supply chain agile is becoming more and more significant.However,so far there is still a lack of research on this topic,so empirical research on supply chain agile and onthe relationship with IT capabilities is critical and imminent.Based on the theory of enterprise resource-based view(RBV)and dynamic capability theory,combined with relevant knowledge of management and statistics,this paper conducts an empirical study on the relationship between IT capability,supply chain agile,and financial performance.Firstly,I had a comprehensive literature review on IT capabilities,supply chain agile,and financial performance in recent years,and defined the composition of IT capabilities and divided them into IT infrastructure,IT management capabilities,and IT and business matching capabilities.Meanwhile,the resource-based view theory and dynamic capability theory are reviewed,and research hypotheses and conceptual models are put forward based on the summary of the literature.Then,a questionnaire was designed for manufacturing based on the relevant references and expert interviews.Following that,this study collected 219 valid questionnaires.The data was processed and analyzed employing SPSS24 and AMOS26.The results showed that,(1)IT infrastructure has a positive role in promoting the company’s logistics performance;(2)IT management ability has a positive role in promoting the company’s logistics performance;(3)IT management ability has a positive role in promoting supply chain agile;(4)Supply chain agile plays a positive role in promoting logistics performance;(5)Supply chain agile plays an intermediary role between IT capability and logistics performance.Based on the conclusion,combining with the development status of manufacturing enterprises,the following management suggestions are put forward to improve the performance of manufacturing enterprises:(1)Increase the construction of IT infrastructure in the logistics sector;(2)Build a good strategic partnership;(3)Improve the construction of enterprise information platform.It aims to improve the company’s operation efficiency,maintain its core competitiveness and enhance its own interests in the future operation process.
