In recent years,with the rise of short video services and the continuous development of cloud computing and big data technologies,the scale of data volume in the network is getting larger and larger.Users have higher requirements on the quality of service(QoS)of the network.How to provide quality of service assurance for services with high QoS requirements,such as ultra-high definition video conferencing and interactive games,in a general network environment has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this paper,we propose the use of Software Define Network(SDN)architecture to manage and schedule network resources to address the above issues from the project "DCampus Cool View",a high-definition video recording system of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Computer Network.We propose to use Software Define Network(SDN)architecture to manage and schedule network resources to provide end-to-end reliable connectivity for services.In terms of scheduling and management of network resources,this paper proposes a time-slot-based bandwidth resource reservation algorithm to provide bandwidth reservation services for links with QoS guarantee requirements,and thus ensure network service quality.The main research work of this paper can be summarized as follows.1.A QoS assurance system is developed and implemented based on the open source SDN controller Floodlight,which uses the SDN controller's information-awareness and resource scheduling capabilities of the network environment to ensure end-to-end communication quality.The functions include finding the location of the corresponding device in the network topology based on the source IP address and destination IP address,calculating the shortest path with sufficient bandwidth between the two The switches on the path are issued flow tables through Open Flow protocol to ensure the priority forwarding of packets,and the bandwidth queue is turned on to ensure the minimum bandwidth for communication.2.A time-slot-based tiered dynamic resource reservation algorithm is proposed and implemented in the QoS assurance system.The algorithm is to divide the bandwidth resources into multiple time slots based on time granularity at the time level,and perform path calculation and bandwidth reservation based on the links that meet the conditions in different time slots.3.The Mininet simulation platform is used to simulate the real network environment,and the proposed algorithm and system are simulated and tested,mainly from several evaluation indexes such as bandwidth occupancy,time delay,jitter,etc.to analyze.The experimental results show that the proposed time-slot-based hierarchical bandwidth reservation algorithm in this paper can well guarantee the QoS during transmission when the network is congested.
