In recent decades,mobile Ad hoc networks have flourished,mainly due to the development of new hardware and embedded software platforms.In the field of military,the main component of mobile Ad hoc network,the research in recent years is developing towards the swarm,collaboration and intelligence,showing the practical characteristics of mobile Ad hoc network.Indeed,this is an exciting new trend for us,but there are also many new challenges.The current mobile Ad hoc network tends to be large-scale,rapid organization,and rapid deployment,but the traditional mobile Ad hoc network cannot meet this demand.Software defined network is also a newly developed network organization method.Through programmable data planes,centralized controllers,and open northbound interfaces,software defined network can quickly implement network deployment and verification of new protocols.Therefore,we combine the two network features to realize software defined mobile Ad hoc network.However,to realize the software defined mobile Ad hoc network,there are still many new problems to be solved.For large-scale scenarios,especially tactical networks,it is necessary to perceive the network status in time.The current network does not support such functions.In addition,the mobile ad hoc network has a large number of nodes,strong dynamics,and rapid environmental changes.The nodes cannot guarantee normal operation at all times.The highly dynamic topology cannot guarantee that every data packet is correctly sent to the destination node.If the mechanism of reply is adopted,it will cause great pressure on the network.To solve the above problems,we study the following problems based on the implementation of the software defined Ad hoc network:(1)Software defined mobile Ad hoc network state awareness: the in-band network telemetry technology is used to encapsulate the network state awareness information and the data packet in the same packet to transmit,improve the packet utilization rate and reduce the overhead of the data packet header.Furthermore,in the case of multiple services,path generation algorithm is used to generate in-band telemetry paths to avoid repeated telemetry of the same path and excessive number of telemetry paths,so as to reduce the pressure of monitoring nodes and reduce control information in the network.(2)software defined mobile Ad hoc fault detection: on the basis of the in-band network telemetry,in view of the unpredictable anomalies appear in the network,designed the software defined mobile Ad hoc network fault detection technology,using the bloom filter generated occupies small tag data,through the tag data contrast to determine whether the network fault,and fixing the exception.Finally,OPNET network simulation software is used to simulate the networking mode,state awareness and fault detection of the software defined Ad hoc network proposed above,which proves the feasibility of the proposed networking mode.State awareness has good overhead performance and fault detection has good functional characteristics.
