| In recent years,the rapid development of mobile Internet and 5G has brought a huge impact on traditional media.The convergence of traditional media and new media is a profound change in the media field.VR journalism has gradually become a new opportunity for the transformation of traditional media.However,as a new narrative medium,VR technology is not mature in the field of journalism at present,and its narrative characteristics still need to be further explored.Starting from the research of VR journalism narrative mode,based on the theoretical research at home and abroad and combining the theory and analytical framework of narratology,this paper systematically studies its narrative characteristics,including narrative communication,narrative focalization,narrative time and space,and analyzes the audience psychology of VR journalism narrative and its potential ethical problems.The first chapter of this paper introduces the research background and value,makes literature reviews on VR journalism narrative,and expounds the innovation points and research methods.The second chapter mainly introduces VR technology,analyzes the narrative characteristics of VR journalism,including immersion,interactivity,non-linearity and empathy,and summarizes the development history of VR journalism.The third chapter analysis the narrative communication of VR journalism from the perspective of the narrator and the audience.The scope of the VR journalism narrator extends to the author,even characters,the audience was given to options to watch,changing status from "bystander" to "veteran".The power of narrator and audience is "trade-off",which realizes the transformation of VR journalism from self-sufficient narration to interactive narration.Meanwhile,the paper breaks the previous single research dimension centered on VR journalism text,starting from the narrative characteristics of VR journalism,based on the theory of narratology,combined with the theory of Psychology of Film,it studies the new characteristics of audience psychology of VR journalism,including happiness,game and curiosity.The fourth chapter,by studying the typical cases of VR journalism both at home and abroad,analyzes the narrative zero focalization,inner focalization and external focalization of VR journalism:narrative zero focalization shows authority and alienation,which is suitable for the works or depth plot;Narrative internal focalization brings a strong sense of "substitution",but it is easy to make the audience "out of focus" and deviate from the theme of the news.Narrative external focalization presents rationality and calmness,which is generally suitable for simple plots.The fifth chapter analyzes narrative time and space of VR Journalism,including the superposition and fragmentization of the time,and the expansion and transformation of its space.The sixth chapter analyzes potential ethical problems in VR journalism narration.First,it may brings intense impact to the objectivity and reality of Journalism.what’s more,its immersive narration may strengthens media violence.Thirdly,panoramic presentation of VR journalism causes the problem of the privacy.At present,the media’s exploration of VR journalism is still going on,and it is a serious problem for us to find a mature narrative mode that belongs exclusively to VR journalism. |
