With the development of image processing technology and computer technology,reversible information hiding technology has been paid more and more attention in the field of information security and intellectual property protection because it can accurately extract secret information from the secret image and restore the original carrier image without distortion.In some specific situations where any distortion of the carrier object may cause serious consequences,this technology shows more obvious advantages.Therefore,the study of reversible information hiding technology is of great significance for the safe and effective transmission of secret documents of organs and military departments,data and images in the aerospace field,and confidential schemes and design drawings of enterprise departments.In this paper,we study reversible information hiding algorithm based on uncompressed image and compressed image.The main contributions and research contents are as follows :1.For the uncompressed image,a multi-dimensional histogram reversible information hiding algorithm based on adaptive prediction is proposed.Firstly,the adaptive prediction algorithm is used to reduce the distortion of the stego-image.The multi-dimensional histogram is formed according to the complexity,and multi-pair expansion pairs are used for each histogram to further improve the performance;a fast search strategy for selecting extended parameters is proposed to greatly reduce the complexity of the algorithm.Through the analysis of the performance and complexity of the predictor,and the comparison with the simulation experiments of Ou,Tai and other algorithms,the good performance of the proposed multidimensional histogram reversible information hiding algorithm based on adaptive prediction is verified.2.Aiming at the compressed image,the existing RDH algorithm based on JPEG image is improved,and the JPEG-RDH algorithm is proposed.Firstly,a new two-dimensional coefficient histogram is constructed,and the specific coefficient pair mapping of RDH is designed.The secret information is embedded by moving the coefficient pair.Block selection mechanism and frequency selection strategy are used to reduce the distortion of encrypted image.Finally,through the simulation experiment,the JPEG-RDH algorithm is analyzed from three aspects : the quality of the encrypted image,the increment of the file and the effectiveness of the mapping strategy.Compared with Cheng,Huang and other algorithms,the effectiveness of the algorithm is fully verified.
