With the development of the times,the infrared thermal imager has been widely used in military,medical,security,transportation,electric power and other fields.Therefore,the accurate testing and evaluation of the performance parameters of the infrared thermal imager is of great significance to the development of the infrared thermal imager.For the problem that the subjective test error of some performance parameters of the infrared thermal imager is large,this paper designs an automatic test method for each parameter,and designs and builds a high-precision infrared thermal imager automatic test system to eliminate the subjective error introduced by human testing.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)This paper introduces the imaging principle of the infrared thermal imager and the theoretical basis for testing the main performance parameters,and discusses the shortcomings of the traditional testing methods for the main performance parameters,such as the minimum resolvable temperature difference(MRTD),the operating range,and the field angle of view(FOV).An automatic testing method is designed for each parameter.(2)In this paper,BP neural network is used to automatically test the MRTD of infrared thermal imager.The thermal map of four-bar target is preprocessed to simulate the observation of human eyes,and the image eigenvalues are extracted.The network model parameters are set up to build a BP neural network model for MRTD automatic test for training.(3)According to the automatic test method of infrared thermal imager performance parameters,an automatic test system is built.The hardware platform mainly includes three modules: optical alignment module,infrared target module and azimuth control module.The optical collimation module is used to simulate the infinite target;The infrared target module includes blackbody and target module,which is used to provide the infrared observation target with stable temperature difference for the test system;The orientation control module includes image acquisition card,industrial computer,twodimensional high-precision turntable,etc.,which is mainly used to test the angle related parameters of the thermal imager.In this paper,the visual studio2013 integrated development environment is adopted.Based on QT 5.10,the operation interface and control program are compiled to realize the software control of target wheel,area source blackbody and high-precision two-dimensional turntable.Combined with the graphics card image library and CUDA development kit,the high-efficiency data transmission is realized with low host CPU utilization.At the same time,the test code is written and encapsulated for different parameter tests.(4)The results of MRTD,operating range and FOV of infrared thermal imager are tested by automatic test system.The test results of traditional test methods are compared and the factors affecting the accuracy of automatic test are analyzed.
