Research On The Current Problems And Countermeasures Of The Construction Of College Students’ Associations

Since the beginning of the 20 th century,the cause of higher education in China has developed rapidly,and the phenomenon of "hundred leagues war" has also appeared in college student associations.With the continuous expansion of the scale of associations and the continuous improvement of students’ participation,the types and activities of associations have become more and more.College student associations play an important role in building campus culture,enhancing students’ professional education,strengthening students’ comprehensive quality and promoting students’ growth.At the same time,in the face of young student’s thought characteristic after the year 2000,such as increased interest demand,subjective consciousness enhancement,such as diversified values,in view of the situation of current college students,how to strengthen the research system of college student associations in the new era,improve the student community management mechanism,effectively solve the problems existing in the development of college student associations,become a issue need to universities in the new era.Based on student associations in higher teacher training colleges and universities,this paper combines comprehensive research methods such as literature review,case interviews and questionnaire surveys to systematically and comprehensively collate the current situation of the construction and development of student associations in higher teacher training colleges and universities,and propose practical improvement strategies as the focus of this study.The thesis summarizes six types of student societies: six major categories: theoretical societies,sports and athletic societies,academic and scientific societies,cultural and artistic societies,social welfare societies and mutual aid societies.Four characteristics of student associations are systematically analyzed,namely,spontaneity,non-profitability,extensiveness and organization.At the same time,it is comprehensively concluded that student societies in universities have an important role in promoting the comprehensive quality of students and prosperous campus culture.This thesis paper takes the construction of societies in H Normal University as an example,and combines the actual situation of the university.Through interviews and questionnaire surveys with the head of the league committee,society instructors,society leaders and general society members,it shows the current situation of the development of student societies in colleges and universities in a more systematic way,and through the survey data,it is found that six problems exist in student societies at three levels,namely inaccurate positioning of societies at the college level and weak guidance The analysis of the survey data revealed six problems at three levels,namely,inaccurate positioning and weak guidance of student societies at the university level,uneven competence of society leaders and unreasonable structure of societies,misconceptions about societies and lack of planning for extracurricular life.In response to these problems,the reasons for these problems are analyzed in detail at the school level,the association level and the student level respectively.Finally,through the analysis of the current situation of student associations and the causes of the problems,three countermeasures are proposed for the construction and development of student associations in colleges and universities with personal reflections: Firstly,the scientific positioning of student associations should be clarified,and scientific and reasonable policies for the construction of associations should be formulated by combining the characteristics of college students in the new era;secondly,regular training of association cadres should be conducted within the associations,the assessment of association cadres should be strengthened,the core strength of association construction should be improved,and the structure of the associations should be improved.The third is to guide students to plan their university life scientifically,to promote and publicize the associations,to make good use of the association platform and to improve their overall quality.
