Group Work Intervention In Youth Financial Fraud Prevention

In recent years,teenagers have become more receptive to new things,lacking the ability to identify false information,and the awareness of "early consumption" has led to excessive consumption.As teenagers are induced by fraud to spend unreasonably,financial fraud cases frequently occur,causing damage to the interests of their families.Therefore,by introducing financial and social work into the community through more professional community financial education interventions,we can stimulate youth’s interest in financial management,popularize financial knowledge,improve financial management skills,and enhance fraud prevention awareness,to better prevent consumption risks for the whole family.In this paper,a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews were used to assess the financial risks of adolescents in Community B of Sichuan Province and analyze their types and causes.A total of 10 group members were recruited to carry out six activities.The main objectives of the group activities were to help adolescents learn to identify financial frauds,correct unreasonable consumption concepts in the past,establish the right consumption concepts,cultivate students’ interest in financial management,improve their knowledge of finance,and enable them to learn to combine theory and practice.The specific method is four points:first,to popularize the financial information and channels needed by teenagers in their daily lives to improve their financial knowledge and judgment;second,to popularize the awareness and methods of financial management that can be used in everyday life to the group members and learn to keep accounts and save;third,to carry out the interpretation of various financial fraud traps,identify destructive financial frauds and learn to spend money in a planned way;fourth,to improve the thinking as well as the understanding of financial management of teenagers operation ability,strengthen the parent-child relationship,as well as enhance the youth’s awareness of their rights.In the "Pre-and Post-Test Form for Financial Fraud Identification Enhance ment," the level of enhancement of adolescents was compared and analyzed thro ugh a satisfaction feedback form and their evaluation results.The implementatio n of the group activities made the author realize that in the future,it is possible to intervene in the families of adolescents,care for their hearts and minds,org anize various forms of club activities,expand social circles,and establish specific social support networks through social workers contacting community and school groups.This will enable young people to develop good financial literacy from an early age and jointly promote China’s financial education from activity-based to community-based and sustainable,realizing the popularization of financialknowledge to all people and helping to promote financial inclusion.In recenty ears,the ability of young people to accept new things has increased,and they ca nnot identify false information.Their awareness of "early consumption" leads to unreasonable consumption.As teenagers are lured by frauds and spend unreason ably,financial fraud cases frequently occur,resulting in damage to the interests o f their families.Therefore,by introducing economic and social work into the community through more professional community financial education interventions,we can stimulate youth’s interest in financial management,popularize financial knowledge,improve financial management skills,and enhance fraud preventionaw areness,to better prevent consumption risks for the whole family.
