Hollow core fibers play a more important role in the development of modern optical fiber. In addition to communication and infrared bands,it also has a great scientific and technical significance in the ultraviolet and visible spectral range, especially in medicine, laser cleaning and other fields. Therefore, hollow fibers with wider transmission band, lower attenuation and high damage threshold are a research hot spot.In this paper,a full-vector finite element method can be applied to study the influence of structural parameters of Kagome fiber and hollow core anti-resonant fiber on their transmission bands.Firstly, the background and significance of this research project are introduced, and the detailed information on the domestic and international current research status of Kagome fiber and hollow core anti-resonant fiber are provided. At the same time,Anti-resonance reflecting optical waveguide model and the inhibited coupling as the guidance mechanisms are introduced. The related theoretical knowledge of the full vector finite element method is also described.Secondly, the effects of changing the structural parameters of Kagome fiber on its transmission band and transmission loss are studied.Besides, the parameters such as the half-height width of the Kagome fiber hexagonal core, the thickness of the silica web,and the number of layers of the hexagram lattice in the cladding are changed seperately. In the last part of section,we change hexagonal core into negative curvature hexagonal core, and summarize the law of change.Thirdly, the effects of changing the structure parameters of hollow core anti-resonant fiber on its transmission bands and transmission loss are studied. In addition, the parameters such as the core size and shape of the hollow core anti-resonant fiber, the size of the cladding capillary, and the wall thickness are changed respectively. Moreover, the influences of changing the nested tube parameters of the hollow core anti-resonant fiber on the transmission band are discussed, and summarized the law of change. Finally, the effects of the deformation during the drawing process of the hollow core anti-resonant fiber, attenuation and the transmission bands are discussed. The influences of the size, wall thickness, position of t he individual capillaries and overall fiber size on the transmission band are studied.
