| In recent years,with the rapid development of mobile communication technology,the fifth generation of mobile communication(5G)technology has become more and more mature.The mainstream operators all over the world are actively preparing for the upgrading of 5G network.To build a network power,we must pay attention to independent innovation,seize the historical opportunity and leadership of 5G development,strengthen the research on 5G network technology,network planning and design,and provide technical support for 5G large-scale construction.Accurate prediction of radio wave propagation characteristics is the key to wireless network planning and design.Therefore,it is of great significance to further study the prediction methods of radio wave propagation characteristics.Based on the proposal provided by the International Telecommunication Union(ITU)and the relevant theory of ray tracing method,this paper focuses on the prediction method of outdoor and indoor radio wave propagation characteristics,and analyzes the effect of the prediction method.The main contents and innovations of this paper are summarized as follows:1.The theory and characteristics of 5G radio wave propagation are studied,and the path attenuation and time delay extension are selected as the focus of the research.The existing prediction methods of radio wave propagation characteristics are analyzed,and the applicable frequency bands and application scenarios of various prediction methods are obtained.This paper introduces the commonly used simulation software of radio wave propagation characteristics,and discusses their application scenarios and functions.2.The prediction methods of outdoor and indoor radio wave propagation characteristics are studied.Firstly,aiming at the problem that the current prediction method of outdoor radio wave propagation characteristics does not fully consider the influence of weather environment,which leads to the low accuracy of path attenuation prediction,a prediction method based on ITU proposal model is proposed.In this method,atmospheric gas attenuation model,rainfall attenuation model and fog attenuation model are used to analyze the path attenuation of different weather environments combined with specific outdoor scenes.Secondly,aiming at the problem that the formula of rainfall attenuation calculated by ITU model is complex and depends on R0.01,this paper proposes a rainfall attenuation prediction method based on S-UK model.Based on the UK model,the adjustment factors of the model are optimized by using the rainfall experimental data in ITU-R DBSG3 database,which improves the calculation efficiency and accuracy of rainfall attenuation on the ground path.Finally,based on the ray tracing method,the influence of building wall material and roughness on radio wave propagation characteristics is studied.The research shows that the radio wave in FR2 band will produce greater penetration attenuation than that in FR1 band,especially in concrete walls.The roughness of the wall will have a significant impact on the path attenuation and timely extension of radio wave propagation in FR2 frequency band.3.Based on MATLAB,the radio wave propagation attenuation prediction software of 5G link is designed and developed.It can not only predict the path attenuation in different scenes,but also analyze the radio wave propagation characteristics in multiple dimensions.The software transforms the complex radio wave propagation theory into a simple and understandable human-computer interface,which provides convenience for urban network planning and practical engineering application. |
